Abstract Stamp - Geometric Gems #2

 

I made this small journal for Darkroom Door featuring the new Abstract Stamp - Geometric Gems.

Dit kleine journal gemaakt voor Darkroom Door met hun nieuwe 'Abstract Stamp - Geometric Gems'.

I colored a card size mixed media panel with Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays to start with. I stamped 3 rows of Geometric Gems horizontally with Archival Ink 'Jet Black'.

Een stukje mixed media papier op kaartformaat gekleurd met Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays. Daar 3 rijen Geometric Gems overheen gestempeld in horizontale richting met Archival Inkt 'Jet Black'.

I looked for matching beads in my stash and sewed the beads on the cover. I glued a gel printed strip of tissue paper to the inside of the cover.

I folded 2 signatures out of 150 grs Kahdi paper. That's a 100% cotton paper with a rough surface and rough edges.

Kralen in bijpassende kleuren op de kaft genaaid en de kaft aan de binnenkant beplakt met een stukje tissue papier waar ik een gel print op maakte.

Ik vouwde 2 katernen van Khadi papier van 150gr. Dit papier is gemaakt van 100 % katoen en heeft een ruw oppervlak en onregelmatige randen.

I used a simple pamphlet stitch to attach the signatures to the cover. 

I decorated the stitches at the spine with ribbon that was colored with Distress Ink.

De katernen aan de kaft genaaid met een simpele cahiersteek. Aan de steken ter hoogte van de rug lint geknoopt. Het witte lint verfde ik met Distress Inkt.
