PaperArtsy: ATC's

Tonight I have a new blogpost over at the PaperArtsy blog. For the first topic of the year I created 4 ATC's. 

Vanavond ben ik weer te gast op PaperArtsy blog met een nieuwe blogpost. Voor het eerste thema van het jaar maakte ik 4 ATC's.

I could work with some of the new stamps and stencils designed by Tracy Scott. The release is scheduled for later this month but here's a preview.

Ik mocht werken met een aantal van de nieuwe stempels en stencils die Tracy Scott voor PaperArtsy ontwierp. De stempels komen pas later deze maand uit. Nog even geduld dus maar hier alvast een voorproefje.

For this ATC I've chosen to work on a kraft background.

Hier gewerkt op een kraft ondergrond.

I used one of the new stamps to create a frame.

Met één van de nieuwe stempels een soort frame gemaakt.

Lots of layers on a white background.

Veel laagjes op een witte achtergrond.

The new stamps do fit my style!

De nieuwe stempels zijn helemaal mijn ding!

To create this ATC I used dark blue textured paper...

Hier gewerkt op donkerblauw cardstock met structuur...

and I practiced my mark making skills :)

en mijn 'mark making' talent geoefend :)

Darkroom Door ATC Swap: Pink & Orange

Deze maand deed ik mee aan de Darkroom Door ATC swap. Het thema is "Oranje & Roze", helemaal mijn ding :) 

This month I took part in the Darkroom Door ATC swap. "Pink & Orange" is the theme, love it :)

 Ik startte met het aanbrengen van roze en oranje acrylverf met een plastic kaartje.

I started by applying pink and orange acrylic paint with a plastic card.

Daarna gestempeld met witte (hokjes en tekst), oranje (grote stippen) en roze verf (kleine stippen).

I continued by stamping with white (squares and text), orange (large dots) and pink paint (tiny dots).

Eén van de Fine Flowers afgedrukt met zwarte inkt en bijgewerkt met een wit pennetje.

I stamped a flower from the Fine Flowers set with black ink and added details with a white fineliner.

Straks krijg ik een heleboel roze en oranje ATC's terug :)

In a while I'll receive a bunch of pink and orange ATC's :)

Ik maakte onderstaande ATC als voorbeeld voor de uitdaging.

I made the ATC below as a sample for the current challenge.

Een zwarte ATC met witte verf bewerkt voor een schoolbord look. Ik zag een kaartje met een schoolbord ondergrond bij Godelieve.

 For the chalkboard look of this ATC I was inspired by a card by Godelieve.

I added white paint to a black ATC.

De takjes uit de nieuwe Art Journey Christmas Ball stempelset geëmbossed met WOW 'Opaque Bright White' embossingpoeder.

Heat embossed the pine twigs from the new Art Journey Christmas Ball stamp set with WOW 'Opaque Bright White' embossing powder.

De kerstbal uit de stempelset op krimfolie gestempeld en verhit.

Stamped the Christmas ornament on shrink foil and heated it.

Roosjeslint gekleurd met Distress Inkt 'Festive Berries'.

Colored the ribbon with Distress Ink 'Festive Berries'.

'Collectable' Enamel Dots by My Mind's Eye.

ATC's: Paris

Een serie ATC's gemaakt met als thema Parijs. Als ik aan Parijs denk, denk ik aan mode, de Eiffeltoren en  de vele lichtjes van de lichtstad, vandaar.

Achtergrondjes gemaakt met Distress Inkt. Alles gestempeld met Victorian Velvet, Memories Black, of de 2 samen voor een schaduweffect.

I made a series of ATC's with the subject Paris. I associate Paris with fashion, the Eiffel Tower and the many lights of the big city.

Backgrounds are made of Distress Ink. I stamped with Victorian Velvet, Memories Black or both to create some shadow.

Darkroom Door ATC Swap

Deze 10 ATCs gemaakt voor de ruil van deze maand bij Darkroom Door met als thema "Anything Goes". 

Volgende maand mag ik 9 ATCs terug verwachten, benieuwd!

Achtergronden gemaakt met Distress Inkt en water. De jurkjes zijn bijgekleurd met kleurpotloden. Pas toen ik de foto bekeek merkte ik dat ik het jurkje van één dame vergat te kleuren :)

I made these ATCs for the Darkroom Door "Anything Goes Swap" of this month. Next month I'll receive 9 ATCs in return.

I colored the ATCs with Distress Ink and water. The dresses were colored with pencils. While looking at the picture, I noticed I forgot to color the dress of one lady :)

Deze ATC's met als thema "vlakken" gemaakt voor een ruil met Jolette en Janine.

De achtergrond is dezelfde als bij dit kaartje, maar deze keer gebruikte ik mat papier in plaats van glanzend . 

I made these ATC's with the subject "geometric planes" for a swap with Jolette and Janine.

The background is the same as the one I used for this card, but this time I stamped on regular cardstock instead of glossy cardstock.  

 De middelste ATC kreeg ik van Jolette, de rechtse van Janine.

 The ATC in the middle is made by Jolette, the one on the right-hand side is made by Janine.

ATC swap Darkroom Door

De voorbije week weer interessante post ontvangen uit Australië. In april nam ik deel aan de ATC swap "Anything goes" bij Darkroom Door (zie deze post) en nu heb ik in ruil 8 supermooie ATC's ontvangen. Het begin van een nieuwe verzameling!

Last week I received interesting mail from Australia. In April I joined the ATC swap "Anything goes" by Darkroom Door (see this post) and now I'm the owner of 8 beautiful ATC's. The beginning of a brand new collection!
