Fashion girl 3

For the last time I made a card with the "Fashion sheet" by Studio Art Stamps. I used the "Bleach Stamping" technique in combination with an ecoline background. Seeing a card with a beautiful flower on StampingMathilda's blog made me decide to try that technique. (card and technique here).
There is an interesting ecoline tutorial on Godelieve's blog here

I attached the piece of acetate on top of the ecoline background with beads and a thread. I sticked the metal pieces on the acetate.

Gisteren mijn ecoline voorraad wat aangevuld...

Yesterday I bought a couple of new ecoline colors...

Next I made some backgrounds with the ecoline and smooth watercolor paper.
It doesn't always turn out the way I want it to...

It's always fun to do some testing on the different possibilities of one stamp. Here I used the same stamp as in this post but in combination with Distress ink instead of paper.

To make the background I used a technique by Tim Holtz, illustrated in "A Compendium Of Curiosities". I inked the background with Distress Ink and stamped the swirl with water. Distress is reactive with water, the image fades as if you've stamped in bleach. I applied Versamark to the stamp before misting with water. This helps the water stick to the stamp image.
