Two more Easter cards, made with the Easter Bunny stamp by Ludiec.

Hier nog 2 Paaskaartjes, gemaakt met de Paashaas stempel van Ludiec.

For the background of both cards I used a brown paper bag. I crumpled the paper and dry brushed it with white paint.

Voor de achtergrond van beide kaarten gebruikte ik een bruin papieren zakje. Het papier eerst verfrommeld en er witte vegen op gemaakt met witte verf.

After stamping I colored the bunny with watercolor paint.

Na het stempelen de haas gekleurd met aquarelverf.

The checkered pattern was done with a Darkroom Door stamp and Golden Acrylics paint 'Fluorescent Magenta'.

Het hokjes patroon deed ik met een stempel van Darkroom Door en Golden Acrylics verf 'Fluorescent Magenta'.

On this card I adhered strips of patterned paper that I colored with the same fluorescent paint.

I finally added some black and white stamping. Finished the cards off with a button, raffia and cord.

Op deze kaart stroken gedessineerd papier opgeplakt. Dit papier geverfd met dezelfde fluo verf. Nog wit en zwart stempelwerk toegevoegd en de kaarten afgewerkt met een knoop, raffia en koord.

This week I made a few Easter cards. 

On the background of my first card I used a gel print from my stash.

Deze week een aantal kaartjes gemaakt met als thema Pasen. De achtergrond van mijn eerste kaart is een gel print uit mijn voorraad.

After stamping I colored the Easter bunny with watercolor paint.

Na het stempelen kleurde ik de Paashaas met aquarelverf.

I finished the card off by adhering 3 buttons and a piece of paper ribbon.

De kaart afgewerkt door 3 knoopjes en een reep papieren lint op te plakken.

I made a set of cards using the cute bunnies from the Tim Holtz Thinlits 'Bunny Stitch' set.

I started by coloring watercolor paper with Distress Ink. I applied Distress Ink straight from the inkpads onto a craft sheet, sprayed water on top and put the paper into that puddle. After drying I randomly overstamped the colored backgrounds using Distress Oxide Ink.

Ik maakte een set kaartjes met de leuke konijnen uit de Tim Holtz Thinlits 'Bunny Stitch' set.

Om te beginnen aquarelpapier gekleurd met Distress Inkt. Distress Inkt op een craft sheet aangebracht, daar water over verneveld en het papier door de natte plas inkt gesleept. Na het drogen de achtergrond hier en daar bestempeld met Distress Oxide inkt.

At the bottom of each card I adhered tape and zigzag ribbon.

Onderaan elke kaart stroken tape en zigzag lint opgekleefd. 

I die cut the rabbits out of white and gray paper. For the carrots and cross-stitches I used leftover gel prints.

De konijnen uit wit en uit grijs papier geponst. Voor de kruisjes en de wortels gebruikte ik restjes van een gel print.

Easter is around the corner so I made a few Easter themed cards.

On this card I used the same Easter bunny stamp as I used in this post. I've chosen to work with non traditional colors here. 

I colored the image with watercolor paint. The white ribbon was colored with Distress Ink.

Met Pasen in het vooruitzicht een aantal kaarten in dat thema gemaakt. 

Op deze kaart gebruikte ik dezelfde Paashaas stempel als in deze post. Ik koos ervoor om met niet traditionele kleuren te werken deze keer. 

Alles ingekleurd met aquarelverf en wit lint gekleurd met Distress Inkt.

Easter is around the corner so I made a few Easter themed cards.

On the first card I used stamps by Different Colors.

Met Pasen in het vooruitzicht een aantal kaarten in dat thema gemaakt. 

Op deze eerste kaart gebruikte ik stempels van Different Colors.

The Easter bunny was colored with shades of brown, gray and pink watercolor paint.

For the inchies on the background I used the same watercolor paint.

De Paashaas ingekleurd met bruine, grijze en roze tinten aquarelverf.

Voor het raster met inchies op de achtergrond dezelfde aquarelverf gebruikt.

Sealing Wax #2

 

I folded 2 Easter gift boxes using the beautiful Masterpiece Design paper.

Met het mooie Masterpiece Design papier vouwde ik 2 doosjes om kleine paaseitjes in te doen.

The boxes measure approx 8 x 8 cm. I used my Scor-Pal to make the folds, easy peasy.

De doosjes meten ongeveer 8 bij 8 cm. Met behulp van de Scor-Pal zijn ze zo gevouwen.

I wrapped a strip of vellum around each box. To finish the boxes off I used pink and ocher sealing wax beads and a sealing wax stamp. 

Rond elk doosje maakte ik een wikkel van vellum. Voor de afwerking roze en oker zegellak parels en een zegellakstempel gebruikt.

I filled each box with Easter candy.

Elk doosje gevuld met lekkers.

The paper has a different pattern on each side, perfect to fold boxes from!

Het papier heeft aan beide kanten een motief. Ideaal dus om doosjes mee te vouwen!

To create the green circle I 'stamped' with a round acrylic block using paint.

De groene cirkel 'stempelde' ik met verf en een ronde acrylblok.

Shadowpainting #5

On the image of this Easter card I again used the shadowpainting technique. I did the coloring with ecoline ink, used masking fluid to add white details.

Voor de afbeelding op deze Paaskaart weer de shadowpainting techniek gebruikt. Ik werkte met ecoline inkt en gebruikte maskeervloeistof. 

I stamped the Polka Dots with different colors of Distress Stains. For the text (Happy Easter) I used my favorite letter stamps.

De stippen stempelde ik met verschillende kleuren Distress Stains. En de tekst deed ik opnieuw met mijn ondertussen favoriete letterstempels.

The images I used on this card are by Lalinea. I colored the eggs with ecoline ink.

De paaseieren zijn afbeeldingen van Lalinea, ik kleurde ze in met ecoline inkt.  

To create the background I applied green and blue paint on top of a stamped print. I stamped flowers randomly and added a centre to each flower using Enamel Accents. 

Voor de achtergrond een stempelafdruk gedeeltelijk met groene en blauwe verf bedekt. Bloemen gestempeld met zwarte inkt en ze een hartje gegeven met Enamel Accents.

Hens

Het is bijna Pasen dus ik trok een paar kippen/hennen/hanen stempels uit de kast. Op deze kaart stempelde ik een leuk trio van Deep Red.

Easter is right around the corner so I dug up my chicken/hen/rooster stamps. On this card I stamped a cute trio by Deep Red.

Voor de achtergrond kleurde ik Ranger Distress Woodgrain Cardstock met Distress Crayons.

For the background I used Ranger Distress Woodgrain Cardstock which I colored with Distress Crayons.

Een kippengaas patroon gestempeld.

I stamped a chicken wire pattern.

De hennen gekleurd met Distress Markers en een waterpenseel.

I colored the hens with Distress Markers and a water brush.

Rooster

De achtergrond van deze kaart is een stuk van een bruin papieren zakje. Ik zette er een paar vegen verf op met een brayer.

For the background of this card I used a part of a brown paper bag. I applied white and grey paint on top with a brayer. 

De geruite achtergrondstempel hier en daar gedeeltelijk afgedrukt met Archival Inkt 'Carnation Red'.

De strepen op de zijkant maakte ik met een stencil.

I stamped parts of the 'Checkered' background stamp with Archival Ink 'Carnation Red'. 

I made the pattern on the left with a stencil.

In het kader van mijn 'Use What You Have' blogposten zocht ik alle stempels op die ik nog nooit gebruikte. De stempel van de haan lag al een lange tijd te wachten...op inspiratie :)

For my 'Use What You Have' blog posts I digged up some stamps I never used. This rooster is one of them :)

Ik vond kraft, wit en rood wel goed passen bij de haan.

In my opinion kraft, red and white matches well with the rooster.

Een oude postzegel opgeplakt.

I added a vintage postage stamp.
