Voor dit kaartje de achtergrond eerst in kleurige strepen geverfd. Daar overheen gestempeld met witte verf.

To create the background of this card I first painted colorful stripes. Next I overstamped the dry surface randomly using white paint. 

Het jurkje van het meisje deed ik met de 'paper piecing' techniek. Ik knipte het jurkje uit een stempelafdruk. Die maakte ik met de Darkroom Door Polka Dots achtergrondstempel en  Distress Inkt Ripe Persimmon en Picked Raspberry.

For the girl's dress I used the paper piecing technique. I stamped the dress on a Polka Dots print. Did that print with a Darkroom Door Background stamp using Distress Ink Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry.

Koordjes in haar staartjes gebonden.

I decorated her hair with scraps of cord.

Gelli Print #1

Trish Latimer heeft een serie leuke stempels ontworpen. Dit meisje is er ééntje van.

Trish Latimer designed a series of beautiful rubber stamps. This girl is one of her Whimsygirls.

Ik maakte op een A4 vel een achtergrond met mijn kleine gelli plate op deze manier. Ik verknipte de print tot 4 kaarten. Ik wil op iedere kaart iets anders gaan doen.

On an A4 sheet of paper I created a background with my small gelli plate using this technique. I've cut 4 panels out of this print, want to make 4 different cards with these panels.

Het meisje stempelde ik op aquarelpapier en kleurde ik in met Distress Inkt en een waterpenseel.  

I stamped the girl on watercolor paper and colered the print with Distress Ink and a water brush.  

Accenten aangebracht met een zwart kleurpotlood en een wit stiftje.

I added accents with a black pencil and a white fineliner.
