First I made a pop-up card using the Karen Burniston 1009 - Twist Panel Pop-Up die set. This set includes all the dies needed to create the pop-up base and panels and some extra's.
There is a short video on Instagram in which I show how the card opens.

The base of this card is a white double card. On the front and the back I glued a panel on which I stamped a pattern with the Polka Dots Background Stamp using pink paint.
The hearts, the small tag, the green and white panel were all made with die cuts from the set.
On the inner card I attached the pop-up base. I decorated that card using the Darkroom Door Small Stencil - Circles and lime paint.
I painted the accordeon base for the panels with lime paint. I cut the 4 panels out of vintage book paper. After gesso-ing the paper I colored it with diluted pink and lime paint.
I did some random stamping using the Checkered, Dots, Grid & Alphabet Texture Stamps using paint and black ink.
I stamped marks, leaves and a birthday wish with black ink.
I colored the leaves with 2 shades of green paint.
I added details and marks with a white pen. The birds were stamped on scraps of paper. I colored them with paint.
Details en marks toegevoegd met witte pennen. De vogels werden apart gestempeld en opgeplakt. Ze werden met verf gekleurd.
I die cut the hearts out of painted paper.
De harten uit geverfd papier gestanst.
For tis card I worked with word dies from the Karen Burniston 1003-Word Set 2 - Birthday.
To create the background I applied Distress Collage Medium Crazing through the Small Stencil - Circles. After drying I colored the surface with Distress Crayons.
For the birthday wish I used die cut inlays.
Voor de wens ingelegde woorden gebruikt.
