With Love

 

On a top fold white card I adhered circles, die cuts I made with a cutting die by Art by Marlene.

I colored the stamped flower using Distress Ink and finished the card off with roses, a button, a strip of patterned paper and a piece of twine.

Op een witte dubbele kaart plakte ik cirkels die ik maakte met een stans van Art by Marlène.

De bloem werd ingekleurd met Distress Inkt. 

De kaart afgewerkt met roosjes, een knoop, een restje gedessineerd papier en een jute touwtje.

Resist Printing

The circles on today's cards are from the brand new PaperArtsy ETS 24 stamp set.

 De cirkels op de kaartjes van vandaag komen uit de splinternieuwe PaperArtsy ETS 24 stempelset.

I again did the stamping on gel prints. On the next picture you see the A4 print I used for the backgrounds.

Opnieuw gestempeld op gel prints. Op de volgende foto zie je de A4 print waar ik de kaarten uit sneed.

For this and the following prints I used the Resist Printing technique by Birgit Koopsen. It's about transferring an image from a book or magazine through the gel printing plate and paint. I used pages from Flow magazines. 

Ik maakte deze print en ook de volgende 2 met de Resist Printing techniek van Birgit Koopsen. Vorig jaar al gemaakt, nu pas gebruikt. Het komt erop neer om via de gel printing plate en verf een transfer te maken van een bladzijde uit een boek of uit een magazine. Ik gebruikte pagina's uit Flow magazines.

It's a fun technique but very unpredictable. It depends on the kind of paint and the kind of magazine you're using. 

Het is een leuke techniek maar het lukt niet met elk tijdschrift en ook niet met elke foto of verfsoort.

No Rain No Flowers

I again inked up my hand carved flower stamp using my ZIG markers. The background was colored with Distress Ink.

Nog eens mijn handgekerfde stempel beïnkt met mijn ZIG markers.  Deze keer de achtergrond ingekleurd met Distress Inkt. 

I outlined the flowers and leaves with a black fineliner.

Ook wat gekrabbeld rond de bloemen en blaadjes met een pennetje.

Never Give Up

I stamped the letters on the background of this sympathy card with Distress Oxide Inks.

De letters op de achtergrond van dit sterkte kaartje werden gestempeld met Distress Oxides.

Underneath the white panel I adhered a piece of gauze. I colored the gauze using Distress Ink 'Cracked Pistachio'. 

Onder het witte paneeltje een stukje gaas gekleefd. Ik kleurde het gaas met Distress Inkt 'Cracked Pistachio'.

 A leftover from this project was used to fold a tab.

 Van een restje van dit project een tabje gevouwen.

Distress Stains

For the 31productschallenge on Instagram I've chosen to work with Distress Stains today. I inked up a large background stamp with the stains and stamped on watercolor paper.

Voor de 31productschallenge op Intstagram koos ik vandaag Distress Stains om mee te werken. Een grote achtergrondstempel beïnkt met de stains en gestempeld op aquarelpapier.

These are the colors I worked with.

Deze kleuren gebruikt.

I added black stamping on top and finished the card off by adhering torn strips of washi tape.

Afgewerkt met zwart stempelwerk en gescheurde strookjes washi tape opgeplakt.
