Blog Banner

Ik had me voorgenomen om dit jaar weer een feestelijke blog banner te plaatsen. Maar toen de maand december begon had ik nog steeds geen tijd gehad om foto's te nemen. Dus dacht ik dat het misschien wel leuk was om er een soort mini adventskalender van te maken: af en toe een blauw hokje vervangen door een foto. Bedoeling is dat tegen Kerstmis alle blauwe hokjes verdwenen zijn:) 

I had the intention to decorate my blog with a festive blog banner this year. 
As I was running out of time at the beginning of December the idea of an advent calendar/countdown crossed my mind.
From time to time I'll take a picture and add it to the banner. On Christmas day all the blue squares will be gone :)

Op 1 december had ik echt nog geen idee waar ik naartoe wilde. Toen de eerste foto geplaatst was wist ik dat het een blauw/rode header moest worden :)

On December 01 I started out of the blue...When the first pic was loaded I knew it had to be an aqua/red banner.

Het is de bedoeling om mijn kerstfoto's ook weer te bundelen in een boekje. 
Daarvoor heb ik ze in PSE bewerkt met een 'clipping mask'.

I have the intention to gather my Christmas pics in a booklet.
 I edited them in PSE with a clipping mask.

Time for a brand new challenge at the CAS on Sunday blog today. Theme for the 23nd challenge is -what else could it be-

Ik  maakte onderstaand kaartje als voorbeeld voor de challenge.

I made the card below as a sample for the current challenge.

Het frame gestempeld en bijgekleurd met Distress Inkt 'Picked Raspberry' en een waterpenseel.

De boompjes gestempeld met 'Ripe Persimmon'.

Het was lang geleden dat ik nog een touwtje knoopte op een kaart :)

After stamping the frame I added some color with Distress Ink 'Picked Raspberry' and a water brush.

Stamped the trees with 'Ripe Persimmon'.

It's been a while since I fiddled with cord and beads :)

Oranje en fuchsia vind ik superkleuren samen!

I do like the orange/red color combination.

A Silver Tree

Voor dit kerstkaartje heb ik zilver met fuchsia gecombineerd.

On this Xmas card I combined silver with fuchsia.

Reepjes glittertouw geknipt en deze van groot naar klein op de kaart bevestigd met mini nietjes.

Cut pieces of tinsel twine and attached these to the card with mini staples.

De bloempot gestempeld en de afdruk ingekleurd met Distress Inkt 'Picked Raspberry'.

Stamped the flower pot and added some color with Distress Ink 'Picked Raspberry'.

Onderaan een rijtje mini pomponnetjes geplakt.

Glued a row of mini pompons at the bottom of the card.
