Voor de achtergrond van dit kaartje dezelfde techniek gebruikt als bij de vorige kaartjes.

Used the same technique for the background as on the previous cards.

De witte bollen zijn gemaakt met verf en een sjabloon. Langs de randen één van de nieuwe "Branches" stempels afgedrukt.

Gespetterd met verf door te tikken op de achterkant van een penseel.

Made the white dots with paint and a template. Stamped one of the new "Branches" stamps to make a border.

Added some paint splashes.

De 'Ripple' stempel afgedrukt op een geverfd stuk papier. 

Onder de cirkel een paar stroken gekleurd tissue papier geplakt. Daarvoor wit tissue papier met Dylusions spray inkt gekleurd.

Stamped the 'Ripple' stamp on a piece of painted paper.

Glued some strips of tissue paper underneath the circle. Colored white tissue paper with Dylusions spray ink first.

New Art Journey Stamps #1

Deze 3 kaartjes heb ik gemaakt met enkele van de nieuwe Art Journey stempels.

I made these 3 cards with some of the new Art Journey stamps.

 Voor de achtergrond eerst een laag gesso uitgesmeerd met een oud bankpasje. Daar acrylverf over aangebracht op dezelfde manier. 

I covered the background with a coat of gesso first. Added acrylic paint on top. Applied the gesso and paint with an old credit card.

De hokjes gemaakt met verf en een sjabloon.

Used a template and paint to make the squares.

Op verf stempel ik meestal met StazOn inkt. 

Did the stamping with StazOn ink, this kind of ink works well on paint.

Telkens een andere postzegel gemaakt met het postzegelframe uit de Postcard stempelset .

Made several stamps with the frame from the Postcard stampset.

De grote bloem is ook met een sjabloon gemaakt. 

The big flower is made with a template and StazOn ink.

Onderaan de kaarten telkens een gescheurd randje boektekst geplakt. 

Glued a strip of torn gesso-ed book text at the bottom of the cards.

Weer een canvas gemaakt voor een kinderkamer. De kleuren waren helemaal vrij deze keer, vandaar het groen/blauwe :)

Afmetingen 30 x 60 cm.

Made this 12 x 24" canvas for the birthday of my collaegue's grandson. Used my favourite colors :)

Eerst de achtergrond geverfd met groene en blauwe kleuren acrylverf. Na droging structuur aangebracht met structuurpasta en templates.

I painted the background with green and blue acrylic paint first. Added lots of texture with templates and modeling paste.

Een schooltje geknipt van papier. De mooie JOFY bloemen doen hier dienst als boompjes.

Collaged a school on the canvas. Used the beautiful JOFY stamps as trees here.

Een rondje en een paar welgemikte puntjes/lijntjes en je hebt een kindje voor je 't weet :)

Sketching a super simple child is quite easy :)

De ondertussen welbekende schaapjes.

I've made these kind of sheep before.

Maar ook koeien deze keer. De vlekken gemaakt met zwarte ecoline.

Never made cows before though :) Used black ecoline and watercolor paper.

Mijn grenzen verlegd....dit autootje zelf getekend :)

I've sketched this car all by myself :)

Hekjes 'oud' gemaakt met verschillende kleuren verf.

I've given the fence a vintage look by adding several layers of acrylic paint.

Véééél structuur.

Lots of texture.

En zoals altijd ook de randen bewerkt.

Black and White on Color

De bloemen op de achtergrond zijn gemaakt met een embossingmal. De verheven delen heb ik bewerkt met een wit oliekrijtje. Daarna alles gekleurd met Distress Stains.

Deze "Embossed Wax Crayon Resist" techniek staat beschreven in de Craft Stamper van April.

To make the backgrounds of these cards I used an embossing folder and the Cuttlebug. On top of the embossed parts I added accents with a white wax crayon. Inked the background with Distress Stains. 

There is a tutorial on the "Embossed Wax Crayon Resist technique" in the April issue of the Craft Stamper magazine.
