Bottle Brush Trees

Er zijn allerlei ingewikkelde DIY's te vinden om dit soort boompjes te kleuren maar ik kleurde ze gewoon met Dylusions spray inkt. Slechts 2 kleuren gebruikt. De lichtgekleurde bomen kregen 1 laagje, de donkere een  heleboel :)

There are all kinds of complicated DIY's on the web on how to color bottle brush trees. I colored them with Dylusions spray ink. One layer for the light-colored trees, a lot of layers for the dark ones. Easy peasy :)

Alles klaar gezet voor de fotoshoot :)

Foto's geprint, uitgeknipt, randjes rafelig gemaakt, opgeplakt....

Printed the photos, cut them out, distressed the edges, attached them to white cards....

Een tape accentje kon niet ontbreken.

Garden Pictures...

Gisteren na een regenbui de tuin in getrokken met de camera. Teruggekeerd met een natte broek en uit de vele foto's deze geselecteerd. Niet makkelijk, waterdruppels fotograferen. Met een macro lens zou dat veel beter lukken maar die heb ik jammer genoeg niet :)

Yesterday, I made a walk  in the garden with my camera, just after a rain shower. 

Came back with lots of photos and wet pants...

Wish I had a macro lens :)

Christmas Album Preview

Alle foto's die ik de voorbije kerstperiode nam wil ik graag bundelen in een boekje. Voor het maken van de pagina's heb ik een digikit met laagjessjabloon gebruikt. Alles afgeprint op stevig papier (formaat 15x15 cm).

Nu nog een bijpassend papiertje uitzoeken voor de kaft....

I have the intention to make a Christmas album with my Holiday pictures. I used a digikit with layered templates for the pages. I printed the pages on sturdy paper (size 6x6").

I still have to find out which paper I'll use for the book cover...

..en een binding voor het boek uitzoeken.

Vorig jaar en het jaar ervoor maakte ik ook een kerstboekje.

Thrift Store

Een paar foto's genomen met kringloopvondsten.

Made a few pictures with objects from the thrift store.

Op de kop getikt: 2 theepotten en een geglazuurd kommetje. Het begin van een servies in snoepkleuren? Ik denk het niet, gewoon wat dankbare objecten voor 'fotoshoots'.

I paid a visit at our local thrift store and came home with 2 teapots and a glazed bowl. I have no intention to start a collection of tablewere in candy colors though :) These are just some nice objects for future fotoshoots.

Nog een paar digitale pagina's gemaakt in het kader van de wekelijkse lesjes 'Photoshop Friday' van Jessica Sprague.  Ik ben van plan om alle PSF pagina's van dit jaar in een boekje te verzamelen.

The 'Photoshop Friday' lessons by Jessica Sprague are still continuing. I made a few lay-outs with recent photos of trips and journeys. I'll gather all the PSF lay-outs in a book by the end of the year.
