Daisy Delight #5

To create this card I was inspired by this art journal page by stampingmathilda.

I stamped the flowers over a gel print and colored the 'white space' in between the flowers with a black marker. A quick and easy way to color the flowers without coloring :)

I adhered a strip of white paper to the card on which I stamped a birthday wish. I finished the card off with mini staples, black thread and a charm.

Voor dit kaartje haalde ik mijn inspiratie bij deze art journal pagina van stampingmathilda. Ik stempelde de bloemen over een gel print en kleurde de ruimte tussen de bloemen in met een zwarte pen. Een snelle manier om de bloemen te kleuren zonder echt te kleuren :)

Een strookje wit papier op de kaart gekleefd waar ik een verjaardagswens op stempelde. De kaart afgewerkt met mini nietjes, zwarte draad en een bedeltje.

On the background of this card I used a gel print.

Voor de achtergrond van dit kaartje koos ik een gel print.

I stamped parts of the 'Stripes' stamp by Different Colors to the right edge of the card.

Een gedeelte van de 'Stripes' stempel van Different Colors afgedrukt op de rechterkant van de kaart.

The blossoms and the cupcake were stamped on watercolor paper and cut out.  I did the coloring with watercolor paint. For the colored squares I used rub-ons.

De bloesem takjes en de cupcake op aquarelpapier gestempeld, uitgeknipt en ingekleurd met aquarelverf.

Voor de vierkantjes gebruikte ik rub-ons.

Macarons #1

 

On this card I used the beautiful 'Macarons' stamp by Different Colors.

Een kaartje gemaakt met de mooie 'Macarons' stempel van Different Colors.

I stamped the macarons with Versamark ink and heat embossed the print using gold embossing powder. The coloring was done with watercolor paint.

De koekjes met Versamark gestempeld en met goud embossing poeder bewerkt. Ingekleurd met aquarelverf.

At the left I adhered 2 strips of patterned paper. Next to the paper I drew a line with a Versamark marker and heat embossed that line with gold embossing powder.

Links 2 strookjes papier opgeplakt. Net  naast het papier een lijntje getekend met een Versamark stift en daar ook embossing poeder over gestrooid en verhit.

I stamped script on tissue paper and glued the torn tissue paper to the front of the card. I added gold accents using embossing powder and a fineliner. 

Tekst gestempeld op tissue papier en het gescheurde tissue papier op de voorkant van de kaart geplakt. Langs de randen ook nog gouden lijnen en stippen aangebracht met embossing poeder en een pennetje.

To do the stamping on this card I applied the technique Hermine Koster showed in this YouTube video. Making this card was fun to do, I'll definitely make another example using different stamps.

The coloring was done using watercolor paint.

Voor het stempelwerk op dit kaartje paste ik de techniek toe die Hermine Koster demonstreert in deze YouTube video. Een leuke techniek die ik zeker nog eens zal herhalen met andere stempels.

Alles ingekleurd met aquarelverf.

Sunflower #1

 

To make this card I started by painting a background using various colors of acrylic paint.

Voor deze kaart eerst een achtergrond geverfd met acrylverf in allerlei kleuren. 

I overstamped that background randomly with a text stamp and a circle stamp.

Daar overheen gestempeld met een tekststempel en een cirkelstempel.

I stamped the sunflower with Versamark ink and  heat embossed the print with white embossing powder. I colored the petals with watercolor paint and finished the card off by adding white accents.

De zonnebloem afgedrukt met Versamark inkt en de stempelafdruk bewerkt met wit embossing poeder. De bloemblaadjes ingekleurd met aquarelverf en de kaart afgewerkt met witte accenten.
