Darkroom Door Mason Jar Frame Stamp #2

Voor de achtergrond van dit kaartje maakte ik nonchalante strepen met oranje, magenta, roze, gele en lichtblauwe acrylverf. 

I painted the background of this card with orange, magenta, pink, yellow and light blue acrylic paint. 

Daarop gestempeld met delen van de 'Polka Dots' stempel en witte verf.

I randomly stamped dots with parts of the 'Polka Dots' stamp and white paint.

De bokaal op een stukje wit papier gestempeld. De randen van het flesje gemaskerd vooraleer de snoepjes te stempelen. De snoepjes zijn onderdeel van een stempel. De rest van die stempel met tape gemaskerd voor het beïnkten. 

De snoepjes ingekleurd met verf.

I stamped the jar on white paper and masked the edges before stamping the candy. The sweets are part of a stamp. I masked the rest of the stamp with tape before inking up.

I colored the sweets with paint.

Tekst op eens stukje papier gestempeld en op de bokaal geplakt.

Schaduwen aangebracht met Distress Inkt en een waterpenseel. Het flesje verhoogd opgeplakt.

I stamped the text on a scrap of paper. I added shadow with Distress Ink and decorated the jar with some beads. I attached the jar to the card using foam tape.

Summer

Voor de achtergrond van deze blauw/groene kaart een gelli plate print gebruikt. Daar overheen gestempeld met een spiraalstempel en witte verf.

For the background of this card I used a gelli plate print. I overstamped the print with a spiral stamp and white paint.

Met het woord 'summer' rijen gestempeld op een groen geverfde achtergrond. De letters ingekleurd met een witte pen.

I stamped rows of the word 'summer' on a piece of painted paper and added accents with a white pen.

Wolken gestempeld op tissue papier en deze aan de zijkant opgeplakt.

I stamped the clouds on tissue paper and adhered them to the left side of the card.

Het randje van de 'journal card' versierd met dotjes verf. Hiervoor een 'needle tip applicator' gebruikt.

I decorated the journal card with dots of paint using a needle tip applicator.

Hartjes gestanst uit restjes geverfd papier.

Punched some hearts out of painted paper.

Darkroom Door Mason Jar Frame Stamp #1

Met de nieuwe 'Mason Jar' stempel van Darkroom Door maakte ik dit oranje/roze kaartje.

De achtergrond streperig geverfd met roze en oranje verf en er delen van de 'Checkered' achtergrondstempel op gestempeld met witte verf. De bokaal gestempeld op een stukje papier. Snoepjes gestempeld, daarvoor de randen  van het glas gemaskeerd. Snoepjes gekleurd met verf. Schaduw opgebracht aan de randen met Distress Inkt 'Weathered Wood' en een waterpenseel. Ook wat witte verf aangebracht. Alles uitgeknipt, een touwtje met kralen bevestigd en verhoogd opgeplakt dmv foam tape.

I made this orange/pink card with the 'Mason Jar' Frame Stamp by Darkroom Door.

To create the background I made rough brush strokes with orange and pink acrylic paint. Randomly stamped parts of the Checkered Background Stamp with white paint. I stamped the mason jar on a piece of paper and stamped the candy inside using the masking technique. I colored the candy with orange and pink paint and added shadow to the edges of the jar with Distress Ink 'Weathered Wood' and a water brush. Created highlights with white paint.

After cutting out I attached the jar to the background with foam tape. Further decorated it with cord and some beads.

I used a collection of summer themed word stamps to make this card.

New Darkroom Door Stamps: Stitched Threads

Voor Darkroom Door maakte ik twee CAS kaartjes met de nieuwe 'Stitched Threads' stempel. Hier het frame gecombineerd met een bloem en hart uit de 'Whimsical' stempelset.

For Darkroom Door I made two CAS cards with the 'Stitched Threads' Frame Stamp. On this card I stamped flowers and a heart from the 'Whimsical' stamp set.

Alles ingekleurd met acryl markers en witte accenten aangebracht met een Sharpie.

I did the coloring with acrylic markers and added highlights with a white Sharpie.

Voor deze kaart eerst een stukje papier geverfd met oranje en roze. Daar letters uit gestanst en opgeplakt. De vlaggetjes met verf gestempeld.

 For this card I die cut letters out of painted paper and stamped a banner with paint.
