VW Beetle #1

Ik ging aan de slag met de nieuwe VW Beetle fotostempel van Darkroom Door. Ik kleurde de achtergrond van de afdruk met Distress Inkt en niette die vast op een stukje golfkarton waar ik eerst wat verf op smeerde.

I've made a card with the new VW Beetle Photo Stamp by Darkroom Door. I colored the background of the print with Distress Ink and attached it to a piece of corrugated cardboard with mini staples. I applied some paint on the cardboard first.

De Beetle nog een keer gestempeld, uitgeknipt en verhoogd opgeplakt. De auto gekleurd met Distress Inkt Cracked Pistachio en accenten aangebracht met een zilverkleurig pennetje.

I stamped the Beetle once more on watercolor paper, cut out and attached it with 3D tape. I colored the car with Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio and added details with a silver fineliner.

Skateboard #1

Er zijn weer nieuwe stempels uit bij Darkroom Door

Met de nieuwe Skateboard fotostempel dit kaartje gemaakt.

Darkroom Door released new stamps recently. For this card I used the new Skateboard Photo Stamp.

Kleurige strepen gemaakt met acrylverf. Hier en daar witte en zwarte vegen over de kleuren aangebracht en ook gestempeld met witte en zwarte verf.

I applied colored stripes of paint on a card panel and added black and white paint on top randomly. I overstamped that background with flowers and stains.

Nummers en letters toegevoegd door te sponzen doorheen stencils met zwarte en witte verf. 

I created numbers and letters by sponging through stencils with black and white paint.

De fotostempel afgedrukt op wit aquarelpapier. Met verf wat kleur toegevoegd en de print op de achtergrond bevestigd met nietjes.

I stamped the Skateboard on watercolor paper. I added accents with acrylic paint and attached the print to the background with mini staples.

Baby Wipe Flower

Om dit label te kleuren opnieuw Distress Crayons gebruikt.

To color this tag I again used Distress Crayons.

Eerst bedrukt tissue papier opgeplakt met gel medium. 

I first adhered patterned tissue paper to the tag using gel medium.

Een stencil op het label gelegd en met een babydoekje door de cirkels gewreven om de kleur weer weg te poetsen. 

I put a stencil on top of the tag and removed some of the color by rubbing through the stencil with a baby wipe.

Het gebruikte babydoekje laten drogen en er cirkels uit geponst. Daar een bloem mee gemaakt.

To create a flower I punched circles out of the used baby wipe.

Kleine parels met een steekje vastgezet en een mini roosje opgeplakt.

I attached beads to the bottom with a few stitches and glued a mini flower in place.

Distress Collage Medium #1

Om de achtergrond van dit label te maken legde ik een stencil op het label en smeerde daar Distress Collage Medium Crazing overheen met een paletmes.

I created the background of this tag using the Distress Collage Medium Crazing in combination with a stencil.

Na droging vertoont deze 'crackle gel' kleine scheurtjes. Door het label te kleuren met Distress Crayons werden deze scheurtjes mooi geaccentueerd.

This gel dries translucent with a subtle crackle finish. I colored the tag with Distress Crayons, love the effect of the Crayons on the crazing medium.

De JOFY stempels op een restje papier gestempeld, uitgeknipt en ook met de Distress Crayons gekleurd. 

I stamped the JOFY flowers on watercolor paper, cut out and colored the flowers with Distress Crayons as well.

Een wens en een knoop maken het af.

I finished the tag off with a button and a wish (congrats).

Mixed Media Stamp #3

Nog een kaart gemaakt met mijn Prima Mixed Media Stempel. Deze keer had ik het idee om de stempel met Versamark af te drukken op een gelli plate print. Na het embossen van de stempelafdruk met WOW embossingpoeder 'Opaque Bright White' nog wat extra bloemetjes op de voorgrond gezet. Daarvoor een extra afdruk gemaakt met StazOn inkt 'Teal Blue' en daar een aantal bloemen uit geknipt.

I've made another card with my Prima Mixed Media stamp. This time I stamped with Versamark on a gelli plate print and heat embossing the stamped image with WOW embossing powder 'Opaque Bright White'. I stamped an extra print with StazOn ink 'Teal Blue', cut out a few flowers and adhered them to the front of the card.
