Darkroom Door Daisy #3

Voor het vierkant op deze kaart een resist techniek gebruikt. De bloem afgedrukt met Versamark inkt op een stukje geverfd papier en deze geëmbossed met clear embossing poeder. Een laag gesso aangebracht en alles overstempeld met de Mesh achtergrondstempel en StazOn Inkt 'Teal Blue'. De embossing weer verwijderd met een strijkijzer en keukenpapier.

On this card I used the "iron-off" resist technique. I stamped the flower with Versamark Ink on a painted panel and heat embossed the flower with clear embossing powder. I added a coat of gesso on top of the panel and overstamped with the Mesh background stamp and StazOn Ink 'Teal Blue'. I removed the embossing on the flower using an iron and a paper towel.

Witte en zwarte accenten aangebracht. 

I added black and white details with fineliners.

Een rij rode stippen gemaakt met een needle tip applicator en rode verf.

I created rows of red dots with a needle tip applicator and paint.

Darkroom Door Paint Tubes #1

Wanneer ik met verf werk leg ik altijd een groot stuk papier op mijn werktafel. Na het verven is dat besmeurd met allerlei kleuren verf. Te mooi om zomaar in de vuilnisbak te gooien :)

Voor dit kaartje sneed ik een stukje uit zo'n vel papier.

For this card I used a sheet of used 'under paper'. That's the paper I put on my worktable while creating, to protect the surface. After finishing a project I end up with a messy sheet of paper, filled with paint scraps. 

De 'Paint Tubes' van Darkroom Door gestempeld, uitgeknipt en verhoogd opgeplakt. 

De rand van de kaart maakte ik met de Mesh achtergrondstempel.

I stamped the Paint Tubes by Darkroom Door on white paper, cut them out and attached them to the card with foam tape. To create a frame I stamped parts of the Mesh background stamp.

Bij deze drie kaartjes vooral met stencils gewerkt.

To create these cards I worked mainly with stencils.

Stukjes boektekst geplakt en patronen gemaakt met verschillende stencils en verf.

I glued down torn strips of vintage book text and created various patterns with stencils and paint.

Extra accenten aangebracht met een witte en zwarte stift.

I added accents using a white and black fineliner.

In mijn stempelcollectie kwam ik onlangs enkele mooie oude Hero Arts bloemenstempels tegen.

When rummaging through my stamp collection lately I stumbled upon a few Hero Arts flower stamps.

Ze blijven mooi en eigentijds vind ik.

Aren't they cute? 

De bloemen ingekleurd met verf.

I colored the flowers with paint.


Het donkerblauwe papier blijft hier en daar zichtbaar.

Love how the dark blue cardstock peeks through in some places.

De stelen maakte ik met een rozenstempel van Art Journey.

For the stems I used an Art Journey rose stamp.

Darkroom Door Daisy #2

Voor deze eenvoudige kaart een gelli plate print gebruikt. 

The background of this simple card is a gelli plate print.

 Gewerkt met mijn kleine gel printing plate (7,5 x 12,5 cm), acrylverf en een paar stencils.

I used my small gel printing plate (3 x 5"), acrylic paint and some stencils.

De bloem met Versamark inkt gestempeld en geëmbossed met WOW embossingpoeder 'Opaque Bright White'. 

I stamped the flower with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with WOW embossing powder 'Opaque Bright White'.

Een serie kaartjes gemaakt met de Carved Birds van Darkroom Door.

I've made a series of cards with the Carved Birds stamps by Darkroom Door.

De bomen gestempeld met  Color Box inkt 'Dune'.

At first I stamped the trees with Color Box ink 'Dune'.

De vogels gestempeld met verschillende kleuren StazOn inkt, uitgeknipt en twee per twee opgeplakt. 

I did the stamping of the birds with StazOn ink on white paper, cut them out and arranged them on the cards.

De wens rechtstreeks op de ondergrond gestempeld.

To finish off I added a birthday wish.
