Voor dit canvasje liet ik me inspireren door het werk van Junelle Jacobsen. 

For this canvas I was inspired by the work of Junelle Jacobsen.

Het canvas bestaat uit heel veel lagen. Hier zie je de eerste lagen: papier, bestempeld tissue papier...

 I started with stucking patterned paper and stamped tissue paper to the canvas...

Daar veel lagen verf overheen gezet.

Added a bunch of layers of paint on top.

Ook templates gebruikt voor de achtergrond...

Used templates for the background too...

 Het lammetje kreeg een laag structuurpasta waar ik met een tandenstoker 'krulletjes' in aanbracht.

Added a thick layer of molding paste onto the lamb. I made swirls with a skewer.

A bell :)

Met een witte en zwarte pen de contouren getekend.

Outlined the lamb with a black and white pen.

Ook de zijkanten bewerkt natuurlijk.

Decorated the 4 sides of the canvas too.

Evenveel laagjes papier en verf als op de voorkant...en bloemetjes.

I added the same layers of paper and paint as on the front side...and some extra flowers.

 Afmetingen: 18 x 12 cm.

Size: approx 7 x 5".

En ik ga verder met het gebruiken van dingen uit mijn voorraad...

Op onze blogmeeting vorig jaar leerde Dymphie ons stijfselmarmeren.

Vandaag één van die stijfselpapieren in stukken geknipt en er 2 kaartjes mee gemaakt.

Two cards for my 'Use What You Have' series today.

Last year during our anual blog meeting Dymphie teached us how to make paste paper. I used one of those papers to make two cards.

Eén van mijn favoriete bloemenstempels gebruikt.

Used one of my favourite flower stamps.

Een blaadje geknipt uit een restje.

Cut a leave out of a scrap.

 Een mooie kraal geplakt in het hart van de bloem.

Attached a cute button to the flower centre.

Uit hetzelfde papier ook nog een 10 x 10 kaartje gemaakt.

Made a 4 x 4" card out of the same paper.

Wat ik mogelijks nog moeilijker vind dan een mannenkaart is een kaart voor een vijftienjarige jongen...

De leuke cijferlabels die ze nu bij Ikea verkopen brachten uitkomst :)

Had to make a card for a 15 year old boy, quite a job for me...

Bought a set of tags at Ikea a while ago, they were very useful here :) 

Twee rijen kleurige tape geplakt. 

Attached two strips of colorful tape at the bottom of the card.

Labels, knoopjes en een wens toegevoegd en toen was ik al klaar.

Added two tags, some buttons and a birthday wish to finish it of.

Use What You Have #1

Een nieuw jaar...dat betekent ook weer nieuwe voornemens.

Oudere en/of weinig gebruikte stempels van onder het stof halen bijvoorbeeld.

Vandaag was een collage stempel van Crafty Individuals aan de beurt.

De stempel ingekleurd met Distress Inkten en een waterpenseel.

Verder heb ik het vrij sober gehouden. Ik ben nogal voor 'clean & simple' de laatste tijd :)

I have the intention to use more of my older stamps in 2014. 

So today I made a card with one of my collage stamp by Crafty Individuals.

Colored the stamp print with Distress Inks and my water brush.

Kept it clean and simple. CAS is my motto these days :)

Ik zag van de week leuke mannenkaarten bij Godelieve. Altijd gebrek aan inspiratie voor mannenkaarten hier dus mijn Hero Arts krantenstempel gepakt. Maar...het wilde niet echt lukken met die mannenkaart ...

Toch weer een eerder vrouwelijk exemplaar gemaakt :)

I spotted beautiful masculine cards on Godelieve's blog earlier this week. 

Inspired by her cards I dug up my Hero Arts Newspaper stamp to create a boyish card.

But....the result is rather girlish don't you think :)
