Painted a book page with Distress Stains. Colored the geranium print with white pencils.

Cards and Tins 21

Deze keer maakte ik een label voor mijn 'Cards and Tins' reeks.

This time I made a tag for my 'Cards and Tins' series.

Het blikje gekozen waar ik mijn garenklosjes in bewaar. 

Een zwart blik betekent ook een 'zwarte' kaart, altijd een hele uitdaging voor mij :)

I've chosen a black tin in which I gather my spools.

 Making a 'black' card is quite a challenge for me :)

Klosjes afgedrukt, uitgeknipt en omwikkeld met naaigaren. 

Stamped the spools, cut them out and wrapped them with sewing thread.

Het label heb ik onregelmatig geverfd met zwarte acrylverf en een brayer. Daar de 'Thread Spool' stempel op afgedrukt met  Hero Hues Chalk Ink 'Snow' (Hero Arts).

I painted the tag with acrylic paint and a brayer. Stamped the 'Thread Spool' stamp on top with Hero Hues Chalk Ink 'Snow' (Hero Arts).

Kreuklint gekleurd met Distress Inkt en water.

Colored the ribbon with Distress Ink and water.

Ook op het blikje zijn draad eindjes te zien.

Love the nonchalant look of the thread ends.

Nostalgic Cars

Twee kleine labels gemaakt met deze nostalgische autootjes.

Made two small tags with these nostalgic cars.

De ondergrond eerst gekleurd met Distress Stains en daarna bestempeld met de 'Newspaper' stempel.

Colored the tag with Distress Stains first. Overstamped the background with the 'Newspaper' stamp.

Deze leuke Smash tape gekleefd.

Used this cute Smash tape.

De wagentjes gestempeld met StazOn 'Blazing Red' op stukjes wit papier. Deze kaartjes omboord met smalle stukjes tape. Nog een wens gestempeld en het label afgewerkt met 2 koordjes.

Stamped the cars with StazOn 'Blazing Red' on a scrap of white paper. Framed the scraps with the same tape. Stamped a birthday wish and added some cord.

Art Journey Challenge #34 'Water'

Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe uitdaging bij Art Journey Design Team Blog. Deze keer was Godelieve aan de beurt om het thema te kiezen en ze koos iets leuks: WATER.

Ter inspiratie maakte ik een spread in mijn Art Journal.

 I made a spread in my Art Journal as a sample.

Nadenken over een water uitdaging terwijl het regent....met dit als resultaat :)

Brainstorming about a water theme on a rainy day.... this was the outcome :)

Gestart met het smeren van structuurpasta. Daar de Art Journey 'Waterdrops' stempel in afgedrukt.

First I covered the pages with molding paste. I stamped into the paste with the Art Journey 'Waterdrops' stamp.

Na het drogen de ondergrond gekleurd met deze acrylinkt. De inkt verdund door er met water over te sprayen en alles uit te laten vloeien. Overwegend groen gebruikt omdat alles in de natuur/de tuin nu echt wel heel erg groen oogt.

After drying I colored the background with these acrylic inks. Made the ink more fluid by spraying water on top. Used mainly green on these pages because nature/the garden looks really green these days.

Tekst en takjes gestempeld met StazOn inkt 'Cactus Green'. 

Stamped the text and branches with StazOn Ink 'Cactus Green'.

 De plantenborder en wat extra waterdruppels gestempeld met StazOn 'Teal Blue'. 

Stamped the borders and some extra waterdrops with StazOn 'Teal Blue'. 

Het meisje afgedrukt op glad papier en uitgeknipt. Hier en daar ook nog een stukje tape gekleefd.

Did the stamping of the girl on smooth paper and cut the print out. Added some washi tape accents to the pages too.

Twee extra papapluutjes gestempeld en uitgeknipt. Reepjes papier doen dienst als handvaten.

Stamped 2 extra umbrella's. Used strips of paper as handles.
