Today I made another set of cards for my 'Christmas & Circles' series.

Opnieuw met cirkels gewerkt vandaag. Ze staan op de achtergrond deze keer.

I overstamped the background using a new text stamp by Darkroom Door.

Gestempeld met een nieuwe tekststempel van Darkroom Door.

I went for a clean and simple look.

De kaarten verder heel eenvoudig gehouden.

Non traditional colors :)

Niet de typische kerstkleuren :)

Christmas & Circles #1

I'm planning to make a bunch of Christmas cards on which I will use circles. Why? Because I love circles :)

Here's the first set.

Ik ben van plan om een reeks kerstkaarten te maken met cirkels in de  hoofdrol. Gewoon omdat ik van cirkels hou :)

Hier de eerste drie.

I've started with a set of CAS cards. I've cut triangles out of white paper on which I stamped...

Begonnen met iets heel eenvoudigs. Driehoekjes geknipt en daar rondjes op 'gestempeld'...

...using these sponge daubers for stenciling.

...met deze kleine 'sponge daubers' die normaal gebruikt worden om te sponzen doorheen stencils.

I worked on textured paper, love the outcome.

Gewerkt op papier met structuur, dat geeft het net iets extra.

I adhered the trees to the cards using 3D tape.

De bomen verhoogd opgeplakt met 3D tape.

I have another Christmas card to show today. 

Opnieuw een kerstkaartje vandaag. 

The circles were heat embossed with white embossing powder. I colored the background with Distress Ink 'Cracked Pistachio' using a blending tool.

De ringen op de achtergrond bewerkt met wit embossingpoeder. Daaroverheen Distress Inkt 'Cracked Pistachio' aangebracht met een blending tool.

I attached the mini pompons to the card with small double sided tape. A quick and easy way to adhere small elements.

 De mini pompons onderaan plakte ik vast met een dun strookje dubbelzijdige tape. Snel klaar.

Autumn #1

I've made an autumn themed card today.

Een herfstkaartje gemaakt vandaag. 

I stamped these leaves a while ago with Distress Oxide inks.

Een tijdje geleden al deze voorraad blaadjes gestempeld met Distress Oxide inkten.

I combined three of the leaves with vintage booktext, tape and some black thread.

Drie van de blaadjes gecombineerd met boektekst, smalle tape en een stukje zwarte draad.

Art Marks #10

I recently did two more pages in my tiny Art Marks Journal.

Opnieuw 2 pagina's gevuld in mijn kleine Art Marks Journal.

The pages of this tiny art journal were made out of scraps. That's why this page already had some color on it to start with. I glued a strip of tape and a strip of patterned paper to the right. I created numbers using a stencil and I added more paint to the rest of the page.

Omdat de pagina's van dit boekje gemaakt zijn van restjes had deze pagina al wat kleur om mee te starten. Ik plakte een strook tape en een strook gedessineerd papier aan de rechterkant. Daarna met een nummer stencil aan de slag gegaan en de rest van de pagina bedekt met lichtblauwe verf.

I painted a simple flower.

Een heel eenvoudige bloem geverfd.

I finished the page off with an orange and white paint marker. I added some black stamping as well as a few white paint splatters.

De pagina verder afgewerkt met een oranje en witte verfmarker. Ook nog wat zwart stempelwerk toegevoegd en spetters gemaakt met witte verf.

I did the pattern on the left page with a flat brush and some leftover paint.

Het blokjespatroon op de linkerpagina gemaakt met een restje blauwe verf en een plat penseel.
