I made this frame after seeing a project by Sarah Schwerin at the Darkroom Door blog (here) a while ago. The 4 tags of Galerie 46 based on the "Project Runway" theme inspired me to go for the fashion theme as well.
The background is coloured with Distress Ink Pumice Stone and Victorian Velvet. After drawing the dress, I cut it out of the "Geologic" stamp print (Impression Obsession). The gauze swabs for the skirt are coloured with Distress Ink as well.
I made a frame (width 3/5") out of kadapack (1/5"). Cut the corners at an angle of 45 degrees. I stamped the Floral Background with Pumice Stone on pliable paper, coloured it with Victorian Velvet and glued the paper to the frame. The frame is stuck onto a piece of cardboard.
Afmetingen: 20 x 16 cm
Seize: appr 8 X 6 "
I stamped several backgrounds for this project, no one was good enough to serve as a background for the dress, so I created a background of my own with the Darkroom Door "Fashionable" stamp.
