Hier de -voorlopig- laatste kaart van mijn ballon reeks :)

This is the final card of my balloon series, for now anyway :)

Als het snel moet gaan biedt een gelli print vaak uitkomst. Ik stempelde de 'Crackle' achtergrondstempel met Versmark en deed de embossing met WOW embossing poeder 'Opaque Bright White'. De ballonnen zijn weer gestempeld met verf, de voorste ballon is een tweede afdruk.

For the background I used a gelli print from my stash. I stamped the 'Crackle' background stamp on top with Versamark, heat embossed the print with WOW embossing powder 'Opaque Bright White'.

I stamped the balloon with paint, made a first and second print.

Darkroom Door 'Poppies' #3

In plaats van op een canvas of op een houten blokje werkte ik deze keer op een houten huisje. Ik gaf het eerst een paar lagen gesso.

For this project I worked on a small wooden house that I bought in a home deco store. 

Structuur aangebracht met lichtgewicht structuurpasta en een stencil. Na droging kreeg de structuurpasta nog een laagje witte verf.

I first applied a few layers of gesso to the house. Then added texture with light modeling paste and a stencil. After drying I colored the tiles with white paint. 

De groene vierkantjes stempelde ik met een deel van de Shadow 12 Up Frame stempel en lime verf. Het cijfer 8 komt uit de Artist stempelset.

I stamped squares using parts of the Shadow 12 Up Frame Stamp and lime paint. I stamped a number from the Artist set on top.

De hartjes stempelde ik met stempeltjes uit de Hello Baby Vol 1 set.

The backside.

I stamped the hearts with stamps from the Hello Baby Vol 1 set.

Ook deze keer stempelde ik de poppies met markers.

I did the stamping of the poppies with markers again.

Houten cijfers geverfd met witte verf en opgeplakt.

I painted wooden numbers with white paint and glued them in place.

Transparent Art

Voor het thema 'Transparent Art' op PaperArtsy blog maakte ik 2 winterse kaartjes.

For the 'Transparent Art' topic on PaperArtsy blog I've made two winter cards.

De witte bloemen zijn gemaakt van wax papier en slijpsel van oliekrijtjes.

I created transparent flowers using wax paper and oil pastel shavings.

En ik werkte met Glass Bead Gel en 'Frosted' Mica Flakes, twee transparante mediums. Ideaal voor winterse kaartjes.

To achieve an icy look I used two transparent mediums: Glass Bead Gel and 'Frosted' Mica Flakes.

De stempels komen uit de gloednieuwe PaperArtsy EEG15 set van Emma Godfrey.

I used stamps from the brand new PaperArtsy EEG15 stamp set designed by Emma Godfrey.

Op dit kaartje bloemen gemaakt van Glass Bead Gel.

On this card I've made flowers from Glass Bead Gel.

Darkroom Door 'Poppies' #2

Deze keer stempelde ik op een houten hart.

For this project I stamped on a wooden heart.

Het hart bewerkt met een paar lagen gesso en daar de Postcards achtergrond stempel op afgedrukt met Distress Inkt Mermaid Lagoon.

I first applied a few layers of gesso. Then overstamped the heart with the Postcards background stamp and Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon.

De bloemen gekleurd met markers.

I colored the flowers with markers.

Stipjes gemaakt met roze verf en een needle tip applicator. Een groen koordje gekozen om het hart aan op te hangen.

I made dots with pink paint using a needle tip applicator and created a hanging loop with green cord.

Darkroom Door 'Poppies' #1

Een kaartje gemaakt met de nieuwe Poppies stempels van Darkroom Door.

Voor de achtergrond Distress Inkt Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio en Twisted Citron op een craft sheet gesmeerd, daar water over verneveld en de randen van een vierkant stuk aquarelpapier in deze plas gelegd. Na droging de stappen herhaald. 

This card is made with the new Poppies stamp set by Darkroom Door.

I first applied Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron on my craft sheet. I sprayed water on top and swiped the edges of the watercolor card panel through that ink. After drying with a heat tool I repeated the previous steps. 

Over de Distress achtergrond gestempeld met witte, lime en turquoise verf en de 'Checkered' & 'Polka Dots' achtergrond stempel en de 'Dots' texture stempel.

I stamped on top of the Distress background with white, lime and turquoise paint and the 'Checkered' & 'Polka Dots' background stamps and the 'Dots' texture stamp.

Hier en daar deeltjes van de Postcards achtergrond stempel afgedrukt met Distress Inkt Mermaid Lagoon.

I randomly stamped parts of the Postcards background stamp with Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon.

Rode strepen gemaakt met verf en een plastic kaart. De witte kruisjes zijn die cuts.

I created red lines using a plastic card and red paint and added some die cuts at the bottom (crosses).

De poppy stempels beïnkt met Tombow en Distress markers en gestempeld op glad aquarelpapier.

I inked up the poppy stamps with Tombow and Distress markers and did the stamping on smooth watercolor paper.
