Darkroom Door Marbling Texture Stamp #1

Voor dit kaartje eerst onregelmatige vegen gemaakt op kraft papier met witte acrylverf. 

 I started with making rough brush strokes on kraft paper with white acrylic paint.

In het midden de nieuwe Marbling texture stempel afgedrukt. Voor het stempelen gebruikte ik Distress Paints in de kleuren Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn en Cracked Pistachio.

I stamped the new Marbling texture stamp in the centre, did the stamping with Distress Paints Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio.

Een stukje papier geverfd met dezelfde groene kleuren en daar de bloem op afgedrukt, daarna uitgeknipt. Afgewerkt met een lintje, touwtje, scrappers floss en een papieren roosje.

I painted a scrap of paper with the same greens, stamped the flower on top and cut out. Finished the card off with some ribbon, cord, scrappers floss and a paper rose.

De wens gestempeld met een favoriete stempel. Komt uit de Simple Sayings set van Darkroom Door. 

I stamped the birthday wish with a stamp from the Simple Sayings set by Darkroom Door. One of my favorites!

De roze accenten verfde ik met PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics 'Candy Floss'. 

I painted the pink elements with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics 'Candy Floss'.

De Pretty Poppies van Darkroom Door heb ik eerst geëmbossed met WOW embossing poeder 'Opaque Bright White'.

I heat embossed the Pretty Poppies by Darkroom Door with WOW embossing powder 'Opaque Bright White'.

Daarna ingekleurd met Distress Inkt en een waterpenseel. 

Colored the print with Distress Ink using a water brush. 

Afgewerkt met een gel pennetje en een stukje zelfklevende goudfolie. 

I finished the card off with a metallic gel pen and a strip of self-adhesive gold foil.

Opnieuw gestempeld met stencils hier.

On the background of this card I again stamped with stencils. 

De cirkel stencil is een redelijk 'dichte' stencil, er is dus meer kleur te zien dan bij de vorige kaart.

More color here because I used a circle stencil with lots of negative space.

De boom op een apart stukje aquarelpapier gestempeld. Gekleurd met Distress Inkt en een waterpenseel.

I stamped the tree on a scrap of watercolor paper. Did the coloring with Distress Ink and a water brush.

Een reeks kaarten gemaakt met verschillende aquarel technieken/materialen.

I've made a set of cards using various watercolor techniques/mediums.

Voor de achtergrond van dit kerstkaartje beïnkte ik een paar stencils met Distress Inkt. Daar water over verneveld en ermee 'gestempeld' op aquarelpapier.

For the background of this  Christmas card I inked up a few stencils with Distress Ink, sprayed water on top and 'stamped' on watercolor paper.

Ook het rendier volgens dezelfde techniek gestempeld. 

Voor de sneeuwsterren en de wens gebruikte ik stempels van Els Brigé.

I stamped the reindeer following the same technique.

For the snowflakes and the wish I used stamps by Els Brigé.
