PaperArtsy: New ECL Stamps #2

Ook een label gemaakt met de nieuwe ECL08 set van PaperArtsy.

This is a tag I made with the new ECL08 stamp set by PaperArtsy.

De tekst links gemaakt met een stencil en structuurpasta. Voor de rechterkant papier geverfd, stippen gemaakt met een embossingfolder en de stippen daarna opgeschuurd.

I created the text on the left with a stencil and modeling paste. To create the blue background I colored paper with paint, embossed it with an embossing folder and distressed the dots with sanding paper.

Het meisje gestempeld op boektekst, ik bewerkte het papier eerst met gesso. Op de jurk een laagje Art Sugar van Finnabair gelegd. 

I stamped the girl on gesso-ed vintage book paper and put Art Sugar by Finnabair on the dress. 

Het jurkje natuurlijk ook wat versierd :)

Of course I had to decorate the dress :)

Voor een minimalistische look alleen wat schaduw en highlights op het gezicht aangebracht.

To achieve a minimalistic look I only added some shadow and highlights to the face.

PaperArtsy: New ECL Stamps #1

De hele week worden nieuwe stempels voorgesteld op PaperArtsy Blog. Deze avond zijn de nieuwe ECL stempels aan de beurt, ontworpen door Clare Lloyd. Ik werd gevraagd om een aantal projecten te maken met de nieuwe kerstset ECL08.

This evening there is a blogpost on the PaperArtsy Blog about the new ECL stamps, designed by Clare Lloyd.

On the occasion of this launch I made a few projects with the  ECL08 Christmas set. 

Vandaag toon ik een art journal pagina, de rest komt later deze week aan de beurt. 

My first project is an art journal page. I'll show you a tag and card later this week. 

Ik verfde de ondergrond met Fresco Finish Chalk Acrlylics. Daarna motieven gemaakt met stencils en verf.

I painted the background with Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics and added stencil work.

Het meisje en de vleugels op boektekst gestempeld. Het haar ingekleurd met 'French Roast' verf en accenten aangebracht met een witte pen.

I stamped the girl and wings on vintage book text. I colored the hair with French Roast paint and added highlights with a white pen.

De jurk ingekleurd met verf.

I colored the dress with paint too.

De kraag van de jurk versierd met propjes geverfd tissue papier.

I decorated the collar with painted tissue paper.

CAS #1

Stroken afgeplakt met washi tape en geverfd met Distress Paints. 

De kaart verhoogd opgeplakt op een dubbele kaart.

I painted strips with Distress Paints, used washi tape to do the masking. 

I attached the panel to the card with 3D foam.

Dit vind ik wel een mooie kleurencombinatie.

Love this color combination.

Tissue Paper & Die Cuts #5

Kaart nummer 5 al in deze reeks. Hier stroken geverfd tissue papier geplakt. 

Another card for my 'Tissue Paper & Die Cuts' series. I glued strips of painted tissue paper on this one.

Deze ponsen en stansjes ingezet.

And I used these punches and dies.

Hier en daar het tissue papier overstempeld met witte verf.

I overstamped the tissue paper randomly with white paint.

De cirkels geponst uit boektekst, de knopen uit restjes geverfd papier.

Punched circles out of book text and buttons out of painted paper.

Afgewerkt met een grasborder en kleine papieren knoopjes.

I decorated the card with a grass border and small paper buttons.

Tissue Paper & Die Cuts #4

Voor deze achtergrond tissue papier geverfd met PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic: Candy Floss. Na het drogen het tissue papier op een stukje stevig papier geplakt en overstempeld met de Mesh achtergrondstempel en witte verf.

For this background I painted white tissue paper with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic: Candy Floss. After drying I glued the tissue paper to a card panel and overstamped it with the Mesh background stamp and white paint.

De boom gemaakt met een Hero Arts stans.

I created the tree with a Hero Arts die cut.
