Easter #2

 

Easter is around the corner so I made a few Easter themed cards.

On this card I used the same Easter bunny stamp as I used in this post. I've chosen to work with non traditional colors here. 

I colored the image with watercolor paint. The white ribbon was colored with Distress Ink.

Met Pasen in het vooruitzicht een aantal kaarten in dat thema gemaakt. 

Op deze kaart gebruikte ik dezelfde Paashaas stempel als in deze post. Ik koos ervoor om met niet traditionele kleuren te werken deze keer. 

Alles ingekleurd met aquarelverf en wit lint gekleurd met Distress Inkt.

Snowdrops #3

 

In our garden the snowdrops have already finished blooming but that didn't stop me from stamping a few of them to put on cards.

In onze tuin zijn de sneeuwklokjes al uitgebloeid, maar dat hield me niet tegen om er een aantal te stempelen en er twee kaartjes mee te maken.

I again made a grid pattern on the background. I punched inchies out of paper that was colored with watercolor paint.

Ik maakte weer een raster op de achtergrond. De inchies ponste ik uit papier dat ik kleurde met aquarelverf.

I made two prints with light gray stamping ink using the snowdrops stamp by Different Colors. After coloring the prints with watercolor paint I cut them out and arranged them on the card.

De sneeuwklokjes stempel van Different Colors twee keer afgedrukt met lichtgrijze stempelinkt. De afbeeldingen ingekleurd met aquarelverf, uitgeknipt en op de kaart geschikt.

I finished the card off with a strip of white paper and a Dutch text (Especially for You).

Afgewerkt met een tekst en een strookje wit papier.

Daffodils

 

No stamps used on this card, except for the wish.

Last Monday I watched a reel by Carla Kamphuis on Instagram. In this video Carla demonstrates an easy way to draw daffodils.

Behalve voor de tekst gebruikte ik voor dit kaartje uitzonderlijk geen stempels.

Ik bekeek afgelopen maandag een reel op Instagram van Carla Kampuis.

Ze toont daar hoe je op een simpele manier een narcis tekent. 

De reel maakt deel uit van een serie op Instagram van Carla: #ckreativemonday

The coloring was done with watercolor paint. I added details with a black fineliner and a white Sharpie.

Alles ingekleurd met aquarelverf. Details aangebracht met een dun zwart pennetje en een witte Sharpie pen.

Op deze eerste kaart gebruikte ik stempels van Different Colors.

The Easter bunny was colored with shades of brown, gray and pink watercolor paint.

For the inchies on the background I used the same watercolor paint.

De Paashaas ingekleurd met bruine, grijze en roze tinten aquarelverf.

Voor het raster met inchies op de achtergrond dezelfde aquarelverf gebruikt.

Sympathy Cards #23

 

Last week I made two Sympathy Cards.

Afgelopen week deze labels gemaakt.

I started by inking up two different stencils using shades of pink and orange Distress Ink. After spraying water on top of the ink I made prints on ready made white tags. 

The outcome of this 'stamping with stencils' technique is always surprising. 

I colored the ribbon for the tag toppers with the same ink I used on the backgrounds.

Twee verschillende stencils beïnkt met Distress Inkt in roze en oranje tinten. Water verneveld over de inkt en afdrukken gemaakt op kant en klare witte labels. 

De uitkomst van deze 'stempelen met stencils' techniek is altijd verrassend.

Het lint voor de 'tag toppers' werd gekleurd met dezelfde kleuren inkt als deze die ik gebruikte voor de achtergronden.

The flowers were stamped on watercolor paper and painted with watercolor paint. 

All the stamps I used are by Darkroom Door.

De bloemen gestempeld op aquarelpapier en ingekleurd met aquarelverf.
