CAS on Sunday #24 'Happy New Year'

De laatste uitdaging van het jaar gaat vandaag van start bij CAS on Sunday. Het thema deze keer is 'Happy New Year'. Een 'clean and simple' kaartje maken in dit thema kan niet moeilijk zijn toch :)

Time for the final challenge of this year at the CAS on Sunday blog today. Theme is 'Happy New Year'. Don't forget to make your card clean and simple.

Ik maakte onderstaand kaartje als voorbeeld voor de challenge.

I made the card below as a sample for the current challenge.

Een ballon uitgeponst uit een restje van een gelli print en deze verhoogd opgeplakt. Op de happy stempel de woordjes 'for you' afgeplakt met een stukje tape alvorens te beïnkten.

Punched a balloon out of a gelli print and attached it to the card with 3D tape. Before inking the stamp up, I masked the words 'for you' with some tape. 

In de plaats een paar plakparels gekleefd.

Added a few sticky pearls.

Twee stickers gekozen uit de 'Chitchat' set van Tim Holtz.

Ik  maakte onderstaand kaartje als voorbeeld voor de challenge.

I made the card below as a sample for the current challenge.

Het frame gestempeld en bijgekleurd met Distress Inkt 'Picked Raspberry' en een waterpenseel.

De boompjes gestempeld met 'Ripe Persimmon'.

Het was lang geleden dat ik nog een touwtje knoopte op een kaart :)

After stamping the frame I added some color with Distress Ink 'Picked Raspberry' and a water brush.

Stamped the trees with 'Ripe Persimmon'.

It's been a while since I fiddled with cord and beads :)

Oranje en fuchsia vind ik superkleuren samen!

I do like the orange/red color combination.

CAS on Sunday #22 'Winter Theme'

Weer een nieuwe uitdaging bij CAS on Sunday vandaag. Deze keer willen het team graag een CAS kaartje zien met een winters thema. 

Time for a brand new challenge at the CAS on Sunday blog today. Theme for the 22nd challenge is 'winter'. Don't forget to keep your card clean and simple :)

Ik maakte dit kaartje als voorbeeld voor de uitdaging.

Gestart met zwart papier en daar wat witte vegen op gezet tot het een beetje op een schoolbord ging lijken.

De boom eerst geëmbossed en daarna overstempeld met witte 'chalk' inkt voor een schaduweffect.

Started with a piece of black paper on which I added white ink to provide a chalkboard look. 

Heat embossed the tree first and overstamped it with white chalk ink.

CAS on Sunday #21 'One Layer Wonder'

Weer een nieuwe uitdaging bij CAS on Sunday vandaag. Deze keer willen we graag een kaartje zien dat uit slechts één laag bestaat. Het thema is vrij zolang de kaart maar CAS is.

Ik maakte dit kerstkaartje als voorbeeld voor de uitdaging.

De boom gestempeld met Distress Inkt 'Mowed Lawn'. 

Made this Christmas card as a sample for the current challenge.

Stamped the tree with Distress Ink 'Mowed Lawn'.

Daar stippen over gestempeld met de hulp van post-it papiertjes.

Stamped the dots on top of the tree with the help of post-it notes.

De strepen gemaakt met Distress Inkt.

Knoopjes, lintjes, touw....in de kast laten zitten. Dat was een hele uitdaging voor mij :)

Made the striped pattern with Distress Ink.

Keeping this card flat was quite a challenge for me :)

Ik maakte dit kaartje als voorbeeld en liet me inspireren door DIT.

I made this Christmas card as a sample for the current challenge. 

Got the idea for this card after seeing THIS.

Eén cm brede reepjes gesneden uit allerlei restjes van vorige projecten.

Digged up my scraps to make this.

Drie lagen papier met een wit rendier er bovenop.

Put a white reindeer on top of three layers of paper.

En nog meer restjes om af te werken.

And a few more scraps to finish it off.

De vorm van de kaart maakte ik met een Sizzix die.

Mijn nieuwe Hero Arts 'Pen & Ink Christmas Tree' stempel afgedrukt op de kaart met Archival Inkt 'Cornflower Blue'.

Made the card with a Sizzix die. 

Did the stamping of the tree with my new Hero Arts 'Pen & Ink Christmas Tree' stamp and Archival Ink 'Cornflower Blue'.

Strookje washi tape gevouwen.

Made a small strip of washi tape.

Kerststempel afgedrukt en uitgeknipt.

Stamped the Christmas post stamp on a scrap,  cut it out and stuck it to the card.

I made the card below as a sample for the current challenge. 

Voor dit kaartje dezelfde achtergrond gebruikt als bij deze vissenkaart. Hier de kleuren niet verzacht met een laagje tissue papier maar wel met een laagje vellum.

For this card I used the same background as for my fish card. Toned down the colors with vellum instead of tissue paper.

CAS on Sunday #14 'Tag It'

Vandaag start op het CAS on Sunday challenge blog de 14e uitdaging. Deze keer is het thema 'Tag It'. 

Vanaf nu mag ik mee de voorbeeldkaarten maken want ik behoor nu officieel tot het CAS on Sunday  design team. Leuk!

 Er zal dus om de 2 weken een CAS kaart op mijn blog verschijnen op zondag.
