Texture Stamp - Snow Flakes #2

 

I made 2 CAS cards using the new 'Texture Stamp - Snow Flakes' by Darkroom Door.

I started by stamping the Snow Flakes with Versamark ink. I heat embossed the print with red embossing powder. 

Ik maakte 2 eenvoudige kaartjes met de nieuwe 'Texture Stamp - Snow Flakes' van Darkroom Door.

Ik begon met het stempelen van de Snow Flakes met Versamark inkt. De print bewerkt met rood embossing poeder. 

The numbers are from the new 'Ransom Alphabet' stamp set. The stamping was done with the new Distress Oxide ink 'Lumberjack Plaid'. 

To finish the card off I stamped a Christmas wish and adhered a fabric tab. 

De nummers komen uit de nieuwe 'Ransom Alphabet' stempelset. Ik stempelde ze met de nieuwe kleur Distress Oxide inkt 'Lumberjack Plaid'.

Om de kaart af te werken een kerstwens gestempeld en een stoffen tabje bevestigd op de zijkant. 

This card is inspired by the card I showed a few days ago.

Deze kaart is gebaseerd op een kaart die ik een paar dagen geleden toonde.

Party Balloons #4

 

I made this set of CAS cards for children using the new 'Party Balloons' stamp set by Darkroom Door.

Een set eenvoudige kaarten gemaakt voor kinderen met de nieuwe 'Party Balloons' stempelset van Darkroom Door.

I stamped the balloons with black ink straight onto the card and applied the paper piecing technique on the balloons.

De ballonnen twee keer op elke kaart gestempeld met zwarte inkt. De 'paper piecing' techniek toegepast op de ballonnen.

They were stamped again on patterned paper, cut out and attached on top of the stamped images on the card. 

For a 3D effect I attached one of the balloons with 3 D tape.

Ze werden nog een keer gestempeld op gedessineerd papier, uitgeknipt en over de gestempelde afbeeldingen op de kaart gekleefd. 

Voor een 3D effect de ballon op de voorgrond verhoogd opgeplakt.

I stamped the 'wish' using a stamp from the same Party Balloons set. Love the font!

De wens deed ik ook met een stempel uit de Party Balloons stempelset. Ik vind het een heel mooi lettertype.

To create these quick and easy Mother's Day cards I masked of a part of the card and colored the remaining part with Distress Oxide Ink.

Voor deze eenvoudige moederdag kaartjes een stuk van de kaart afgeplakt en de rest gekleurd met Distress Oxide Inkt.

Abstract 11 #2

 

I made this set of CAS cards using the new Abstract 11 stamp by Darkroom Door.

Op deze reeks eenvoudige kaarten gebruikte ik ook de nieuwe Abstract 11 stempel van Darkroom Door.

I stamped the spirals straight onto white cards  using Wendy Vecchi Make Art Blendable Dye Inks.

De spiralen rechtstreeks op witte kaarten gestempeld met Wendy Vecchi Make Art Blendable Dye Inks.

On top of the colored prints I stamped various wishes from the String Sentiments stamp set by Darkroom Door. 

I finished the cards off by adding matching buttons.

Bovenop de stempelafdrukken wensen gestempeld uit de String Sentiments stempelset van Darkroom Door. 

Bijpassende knoopjes uitgezocht om de kaarten mee af te werken.

Today I'm showing you again a few quick and easy Christmas cards. 

I started by stamping the trees using Distress Oxide inks and I overstamped the prints with black text.

Hier de voorlaatste kerstkaarten post voor dit jaar. Opnieuw een paar hele simpele kaarten. Eerst boompjes gestempeld met Distress Oxide inkt en daar de tekst overheen gestempeld.

For Darkroom Door I made a few samples with their new Circle Set stencil.

The set contains both a stencil and a mask. To create these CAS cards I worked with the stencil.

Voor Darkroom Door mocht ik een aantal voorbeelden maken met hun nieuwe Circle Set stencil. Het pakketje bevat een stencil en een mask. Voor deze CAS kaartjes gebruikte ik de stencil.

I put the stencil on a top fold card and colored the entire circle with Distress Oxide ink using a blending tool. Before removing the stencil I stamped through it with the Inky Script Background Stamp.

De stencil op een dubbele witte kaart gelegd. De volledige cirkel ingekleurd met Distress Oxide inkt en een blending tool. Vooraleer de stencil weg te nemen er nog doorheen gestempeld met de Inky Script achtergrondstempel.

I stamped a tree from the Stitched Christmas set, cut it out and adhered it to the card using 3D tape. 

Een boompje uit de Stitched Christmas set gestempeld, uitgeknipt en verhoogd opgeplakt.

Christmas & Circles #1

I'm planning to make a bunch of Christmas cards on which I will use circles. Why? Because I love circles :)

Here's the first set.

Ik ben van plan om een reeks kerstkaarten te maken met cirkels in de  hoofdrol. Gewoon omdat ik van cirkels hou :)

Hier de eerste drie.

I've started with a set of CAS cards. I've cut triangles out of white paper on which I stamped...

Begonnen met iets heel eenvoudigs. Driehoekjes geknipt en daar rondjes op 'gestempeld'...

...using these sponge daubers for stenciling.

...met deze kleine 'sponge daubers' die normaal gebruikt worden om te sponzen doorheen stencils.

I worked on textured paper, love the outcome.

Gewerkt op papier met structuur, dat geeft het net iets extra.

I adhered the trees to the cards using 3D tape.

De bomen verhoogd opgeplakt met 3D tape.

Ik wilde al lang eens zo'n knoopjeskaarten maken. Eindelijk tijd gevonden hiervoor.

These button cards were on my to do list for a long time. Finally found a moment to make a few of these.

Kan het simpeler.

Very easy to make.

Leuke knoopjes bij mekaar zoeken was het moeilijkste :)

Looking for matching buttons was the hardest part :)

Eerst de wens gestempeld en geëmbossed. Daarna een waterig laagje Distress Inkt 'Festive Berries' aangebracht over de tekst. 

De boompjes knipte ik uit een kerstpapiertje.

Zoals bij de kaartjes uit de vorige post weer gewerkt met kleine stempeltjes.

Wat de tekst betreft: meestal heb ik veel moeite om een mooie afdruk te maken met clear stempels. Dankzij de MISTI tool is dit nu verleden tijd. Gewoon een paar keer beïnkten en stempelen, alles blijft mooi op zijn plaats liggen.

As on the cards from the previous post I worked with small stamps again.

I stamped the text with the help of my MISTI tool. Usually I find it hard to make crisp prints with clear stamps but not anymore. If the print doesn't look perfect the first time I just repeat the stamping process.

I created a flower pattern.

Ik had snel een aantal kadolabeltjes nodig. Deze maakte ik van restjes kaartkarton.

I've used scraps of cardstock to make these small gift tags.

Net zoals bij DIT en DIT kaartje gebruikte ik weer mijn kleine 'cats on appletrees' bloemenstempel.

As on THIS and THIS card I used my small 'cats on appletrees' flower stamp. 

Deze stempeltjes werken niet met alle inkten maar wel perfect met deze Memento Luxe inkt.

These stamps work great with Memento Luxe ink.

Een soort bloemenpatroon gemaakt en daar een tekststempel overheen gezet.

I created a flower pattern and added a wish on top.
