Today's Christmas cards are inspired by Day 17 of the 'Holiday Card Series 2024' by Kristina Werner.

I made 2 XL cards again using another die cut set by Kristina.

De kerstkaartjes van vandaag zijn geïnspireerd op Dag 17 van de 'Holiday Card Series 2024' van Kristina Werner.

Ik maakte opnieuw 2 XL kaarten met nog een andere stans set van Kristina.

For the 'Berries Die-Cut Inlay' I used gold and pink paper. For a festive look I applied Glossy Accents to the berries.

Voor de 'Berries Die-Cut Inlay' gebruikte ik goudkleurig en roze papier. Voor een feestelijke look Glossy Accents aangebracht op de bessen.

I distressed the edges of the colored background panels using Distress Ink 'Black Soot'. I added dashed lines with a POSCA pen 'Gold'.

The Christmas wish was stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with WOW embossing powder 'Metallic Gold'

De randen van de gekleurde ondergronden bewerkte ik met Distress Inkt 'Black Soot'. Streepjeslijnen getekend met een POSCA pen 'Gold'.

De kerstwensen gestempeld met Versamark en bewerkt met WOW embossing poeder 'Metallic Gold'.

To make the backgrounds of these cards I applied Distress Ink 'Festive Berries'  through one of the stencils from the 'Berries and Leaves' stencil set. 

I worked on pink cardstock.

Voor de achtergrond van deze kaarten sponsde ik met Distress Inkt 'Festive Berries' doorheen één van de stencils van de 'Berries and Leaves' stencil set.

 Ik werkte op roze kaart karton.

To add texture I started by dry embossing the white backgrounds.

Via embossing textuur aangebracht op de witte achtergronden. 

Next I adhered wooden images by Flying Tiger.

Vervolgens houten figuren van Flying Tiger opgeplakt.

For the Christmas wishes I used stamps in combination with die cuts.

Voor de kerstwensen stempels en stansen gecombineerd.

To create the backgrounds of both cards I again used the same stencil as I used before.

Voor de achtergronden van beide kaarten weer gewerkt met dezelfde stencil als eerder.

I heat embossed the Christmas wishes with embossing powder.

Deze keer de kerstwensen bewerkt met embossing poeder in goud.

To finish the cards off I wrapped a piece of cord around the stenciled panels. 

Om af te werken gouddraad rond het gestencilde paneel gewikkeld.

For today's cards I used ready made colored backgrounds by Cats on Appletrees.

Voor de kaarten van vandaag gebruikte ik kant en klare gekleurde achtergronden van Cats on Appletrees.

For a festive look I applied a layer of 'Glossy Accents' to the berries. 

Voor een feestelijke toets een laagje 'Glossy Accents' aangebracht op de bessen.

On these square cards I used the same stencil set as I used on the cards in the previous blog posts. For a different look I only used one stencil and only one color of Distress Ink. I worked on pink cardstock.

Voor deze vierkante kaarten koos ik dezelfde stencil set als voor de kaarten uit de vorige blogposten. Hier slechts 1 stencil gebruikt en 1 kleur Distress Inkt met weer een ander resultaat. Gewerkt op roze kaartkarton.

The text stamps can be mixed and matched to create various Christmas wishes.

 De tekststempels zijn op allerlei manieren te combineren. Zo kan je veel verschillende kerstwensen samenstellen.

For today's cards I used the same stencils as on the cards in the previous posts. I only changed the colors but still the outcome is quite different.

Voor de kaartjes van vandaag werkte ik met dezelfde stencils als bij de kaarten in de vorige blogposten. Ik veranderde alleen de kleuren en toch is de uitkomst helemaal anders.

The red stripes were done with a stamp. I die cut the stamped words 'Merry' and 'Christmas' using the coordinating dies.

De rode strepen deed ik met een stempel. De gestempelde woorden 'Merry' en 'Christmas' stanste ik uit met behulp van de bijhorende stansen.

For this simple card I again worked with the stencils and stamps by Kristina Werner.
I finished the card off with a text stamp by Stampers Anonymous.

I made 2 extra large Christmas cards (5 x 7") using the 'Berries and Leaves Stencils' designed by Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th.

Ik maakte 2 hele grote kerstkaarten (12,5 x 17,5 cm) met de 'Berries and Leaves Stencils', ontworpen door Kristina Werner voor Concord & 9th.

To create the backgrounds I used the 3 matching stencils in combination with Distress Inks.

Voor de achtergronden gebruikte ik de 3 stencils uit de set in combinatie met Distress Inkt.

I ran strips of red paper through the Xyron before die cutting the words. This way I made a sticker and I was able to easily attach the words to cards.

Stroken rood papier door mijn Xyron gehaald om er stickers van te maken. Uit die stroken stanste ik de woorden. Een makkelijke manier om de delicate woorden op te plakken.

Remakes

I made a set of Sympathy Cards recently. I like to send a handmade card to friends or family who are having a rough time.

 I looked for inspiration on my own blog. I had in mind to do a remake of some of my favorite cards and change the quote or text.

Ik maakte een reeks 'sterkte' kaartjes. Kaartjes om te condoleren maar ook gewoon om iemand te steunen in moeilijke tijden.

De inspiratie haalde ik op mijn eigen blog. Ik zocht een aantal mooie kaarten uit, maakte deze opnieuw en stempelde er een 'sterkt' tekst op deze keer.

As on THESE cards I did the layered stamping with stamps from an Altenew stamp set.

Net zoals bij DEZE kaarten laagjes gestempeld met stempels uit een Altenew set.

On the painted background I stamped with a flower stamp by Different Colors.

Op deze geverfde achtergrond stempelde ik met een bloemenstempel van Different Colors. 

For this card I was inspired by THESE tags.

I could just squeeze you

I again made a card using my new Orange You Sweet stamp set. This time I stamped limes and colored them with Distress Ink.

Opnieuw een kaartje gemaakt met mijn nieuwe 'Orange You Sweet' stempelset. Deze keer stempelde ik limoenen. Ik kleurde ze in met Distress Inkt.

 I glued the limes on a gel print from my stash. 

I finished the card off with tape and black thread.

Ik plakte het fruit op een gelli print uit mijn voorraad. 

Tape en een zwart touwtje gebruikt om af te werken.

Thinking of You

I made a clean and simple sympathy card/tag today.

I colored the watercolor paper using Distress Ink. To color the ribbon I used Distress refills.

Een eenvoudig sterkte kaartje/label gemaakt vandaag. 

Gewerkt op aquarelpapier dat ik kleurde met Distress Inkt. Om het lint te kleuren gebruikte ik de Distress navulflesjes.

You're so Sweet

For the background of this card I used a gel print from my stash.

Voor de achtergrond een gel print uit mijn voorraad gebruikt. 

I stamped the watermelons using stamps from my new Concord & 9th stamp set. I bought this set after seeing it on Marieken and Ellen's blog. They're both making beautiful cards with this set during their summer challenge.

You can mix and match the different elements of the set to create lemons, kiwi's, melons, oranges, limes.....so fun to do.

De watermeloenen gestempeld met stempels uit mijn nieuwe Concord & 9th stempelset. Ik kocht de set na het zien van heel mooie kaartjes bij Ellen en Marieken. Door de verschillende onderdelen van de set te combineren kan je allerlei fruit creeëren, heel leuk om te doen.
