Masking

I have a one layer card to show today.

I stamped the flower pattern using masks, cut the masks out of post it notes. I did the stamping with Distress Oxide inks. To accomplish the kind of chalky look I went over the ink with a damp paint brush.

 Maskertjes gemaakt van post-it briefjes om de bloemen over en onder mekaar te kunnen stempelen. Gewerkt met Distress Oxide inkten. Na het stempelen met een vochtig penseel over de inkt geborsteld, dat zorgde voor een soort van kalkachtige look.

I've made a series of cards using text stamps.

Drie kaarten gemaakt met tekst in de hoofdrol.

To create the backgrounds I've chosen to work with Dylusions paints.

Voor de achtergrond koos ik verschillende kleurtjes Dylusions verf.

I finished the cards off using a cross-stitched rectangle die by Lawn Fawn. 

Afgewerkt met een mooi randje kruisjes.

 I heat embossed the text using WOW embossing powder 'Metallic Gold Rich'.

Alle teksten bewerkt met WOW embossing poeder 'Metallic Gold Rich'.

Another favourite color combination of mine.

I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper using Versamark ink. I heat embossed the print with white embossing powder and colored the flowers with my ZIG brush markers.

De bloemen gestempeld met Versamark op aquarelpapier. De print bewerkt met wit embossingpoeder en alles ingekleurd met mijn ZIG brush markers.

On the background I used a stamp from the Altenew Simple Flowers stamp set. After drying I added pink and orange reinforcement rings.

De achtergrond stempelde ik met één van de 'bloemen' uit de Altenew Simple Flowers set. De gekleurde verstevigingsringetjes vond ik bij de Hema.

I colored the birds using these ZIG markers and a water brush.

De vogels ingekleurd met deze ZIG brush markers en een waterpenseel.
