Hier de Plaid achtergrondstempel gestempeld met Distress Inkt 'Mowed Lawn'. 

Here I stamped the Plaid Background Stamp with Distress Ink 'Mowed Lawn'.

Het busje met dezelfde inkt gestempeld en de afdruk nog wat bijgekleurd.

Did the stamping of the Kombi Photo Stamp with the same ink and added some extra ink with a blending tool.

Nog een serie kaartjes gemaakt voor Darkroom Door met de prachtige nieuwe Kombi fotostempel.

Made another set of cards for Darkroom Door with the new Kombi Photo Stamp.

Voor dit kaartje weer de 'World Map' achtergrondstempel gebruikt.

For this card I used the 'World Map' background stamp.

Eerst de achtergrond bestempeld met dit zelfgemaakte stempeltje en Distress Inkt.

First I stamped a pattern with this home made stamp and Distress Ink.

Vlaggetjes gemaakt met washi tape.

Made a garland with washi tape.

De bus gestempeld met Archival Inkt 'Cobalt'.

De raampjes uitgeknipt en er vellum achter gekleefd.

I stamped the van with Archival Ink 'Cobalt'. I cut out the windows of the van and put a layer of vellum behind it.

Het laatste kaartje in deze reeks is een kerstkaart. De wereldkaart kan perfect dienen als achtergrond voor een kerstkaartje naar een 'overseas' blogmaatje :)

The final card in this World Map series is a holiday card. This world map is the perfect background for a Christmas card to an overseas blog friend :)

De huisjes gekleurd met Distress Inkt 'Festive Berries'. Beetje glitter aangebracht met een mengsel van water en Perfect Pearls. Daarna de huisjes bestempeld met een tekststempel uit de Christmas Reindeer set.

I colored the houses with Distress Ink 'Festive Berries'. Added some glitter with Perfect Pearls water. Stamped on the houses with a text from the 'Christmas Reindeer' set.

 De sneeuwrand is gemaakt met een Versamark stift en wit embossingpoeder.

The snow on the roofs is made with a Versamark pen and white embossing powder.

Met het gummetje  van mijn vulpotlood en stempelinkt de woonplaatsen aangeduid van afzender en ontvanger...

Marked the countries of sender and receiver with the eraser of my pencil and Distress Ink..

Dit vogeltje gemaakt voor een echte wereldreiziger.

This bird is the perfect gift for a globetrotter.

Twee maal een vogeltje getekend, uitgeknipt en gekleurd met Distress Inkt. Daarna gestempeld met de World Map stempel en Archival Inkt 'Cobalt'.

Drawed a bird twice, cut it out and colored it with Distress Inks. Did some stamping with the 'World Map' stamp and Archival Ink 'Cobalt'.

Beide delen aan elkaar gekleefd en dit foto houdertje ertussen bevestigd.

Glued the 2 birds to each other and sandwiched this photo holder in between.

Deze keer de World Map stempel afgedrukt op een Distress Inkt achtergrond met Archival Inkt 'Cobalt'.

Here I stamped the 'World Map' stamp on a Distress Ink background with Archival Ink 'Cobalt'.

De vogels gemaakt met een foam stempel van Prima. Gestempeld met Distress Inkt 'Dusty Concord' en 'Seedless Preserves'. Daarna een tekst uit de Christmas Reindeer set afgedrukt op de vogels.

Made the birds with a foam stamp by Prima. Stamped with Distress Ink 'Dusty Concord' and 'Seedless Preserves'. Overstamped the birds with a text out of the Christmas Reindeer set.

Darkroom Door heeft net nieuwe achtergrondstempels en fotostempels uitgebracht klik. Rachel heeft mij gevraagd om een paar voorbeelden te maken met één van de achtergrondstempels, namelijk de World Map Background Stamp. Het is een stempel waar je veel mee kan volgens mij, voor veel gelegenheden inzetbaar. Vandaag toon ik het eerste projectje uit een reeksje van 4.

Darkroom Door has just released new Background Stamps and Photo Stamps. I've been asked by Rachel to make some samples with the World Map Background Stamp. A very versatile stamp in my opinion. I made 4 projects with this beautiful stamp. Today I show you the first one.

Ik merk dat mensen op Pinterest een prikbord aanmaken met plaatsen waar ze geweest zijn. Ik vond het wel leuk om hier een boekje voor te maken. Voor de kaft de 'World Map' stempel van Darkroom Door gebruikt. De stempel eerst afgedrukt met StazOn 'Jet Black' en de wereldkaart daarna gekleurd met Golden Fluid Acrylics. Als eindlaagje nog een verdunde laag gesso aangebracht.

On Pinterest I notice 'places I've been' boards. I made a book instead of a board, to remember the places I've been to. For the front cover I used the 'World Map' Background Stamp by Darkroom Door. Did the stamping with StazOn 'Jet Black' and colored the map with Golden Fluid Acrylics. To finish it off I added a thin layer of gesso on top.

Voor de kaftjes kartonnetjes bekleed met geruit papier.

For the front and back cover I covered cardboard with patterned paper.

Voor de pagina's: plakletters aangebracht, een strook gesponst met Distress Inkt en daarna de plakletters weer verwijderd.

First I stuck alphabet stickers to the pages. After sponging the colored strips with Distress Ink I removed the stickers.

mi CAS es su CAS

Elke eerste zaterdag van de maand start een nieuwe uitdaging bij het clean & simple challenge blog mi CAS es su CAS, zo ook weer vandaag. Zwart/wit + 1 kleur is de uitdaging van Delia deze keer. Omdat ik daar in november gast designer ben maakte ik dit kerstkaartje als voorbeeld.
 Ik ben nogal 'into' zwart/wit/rood de  laatste tijd geloof ik :)

Every first Saturday of the month there is a new challenge at the clean & simple challenge blog mi CAS es su CAS. This time Delia is hosting the challenge and she has chosen the theme black & white + 1 color. Because I'm guest designer over there in November I made this Christmas card as a sample.

 I'm very "into black/white/red" lately :)
