Pen Friendship

Darkroom Door recently released new Texture Stamps. On this project I worked with the new 'Postage Stamps' Texture Stamp. I started by stamping randomly on a grey board panel using white paint.

Aan de slag gegaan met de nieuwe 'Postage Stamps' Texture Stamp van Darkroom Door. Ik werkte op een stukje karton waar ik eerst op stempelde met de 'Postage Stamps' stempel en witte verf.

I applied light modeling paste through a stencil, punched 3 circles out of that paper and colored the circles with light blue paint.

Lichtgewicht structuurpasta aangebracht door een tekst stencil. Na droging geverfd met lichtblauwe verf en er 3 cirkels uit geponst. 

I colored a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Ink, overstamped it with the Postage Stamps stamp. I added color to a photo with a Distress Marker.

Een stukje aquarelpapier gekleurd met Distress Inkt en er de postzegels overheen gestempeld. Een beetje kleur op de foto aangebracht met een Distress Marker. 

I adhered strips of Dina Wakley tape on a scrap of paper and punched a heart out of it. Overstamped another heart with the Plaid Texture Stamp using red paint. The dots were done with red paint and a Needle Tip Applicator.

Dina Wakley tape op een stukje papier gekleefd en daar een hartje uit geponst. Het andere hart bestempelde ik met de Plaid Texture Stamp en rode verf. De rode dots zijn gemaakt met verf en een Needle Tip Applicator.

To create the background of this card I painted tissue paper with pink paint. 

Voor de achtergrond van dit kaartje tissue paper geverfd met felroze verf.

I did the stamping of the snowdrop with my hand carved stamp.

Mijn zelf gekerfde stempel gebruikt hier.

Pink & Green

For this birthday card I created a flower from green gauze.

 Voor deze kaart een bloem gemaakt met een stukje groen gaas.

The green panel is a gelli plate print. The flower was done with 2 stamps. I first stamped with the solid flower stamp using white paint. Overstamped that print with the open stamp using black ink.

De bloem op een gelli plate print gestempeld en daarvoor 2 bij mekaar passende stempels gebruikt. Eerst met de volle stempel en witte verf gestempeld, daarna met de open stempel en zwarte inkt.

Dark Blue Tags

I made these 2 tags with the new PaperArtsy stamps, stencils and masks designed by Kim Dellow.

Twee labels gemaakt met de nieuwe stempels, stencils en masks die Kim Dellow ontwierp voor PaperArtsy.

I've cut tags out of dark blue paper and applied a thin coat of white paint first. I colored the tags randomly with blue and green paint and sprayed water on top of the paint to make drips. I added some color with Spray Stain 'Mermaid Lagoon' as well.

Labels gesneden uit donkerblauw papier. Eerst een dunne laag witte verf over de labels geborsteld. Hier en daar blauwe en groene verf aangebracht, daar water over verneveld en de verf laten uitlopen. Ook nog wat kleur toegevoegd met Spray Stain 'Mermaid Lagoon'.

I stamped on paper tape with black ink and adhered the tape to the tag.

Hier en daar ook bestempelde papiertape opgeplakt.

I made the large flowers by sponging through a mask. I added pink and orange prints using a stencil and paint

De grote bloemen gemaakt door verf te sponzen doorheen een mask.

De roze en oranje motieven op de achtergrond deed ik met een stencil en verf.

This tag was done the same way, used a different mask on the background.

I finished the tags off with white stamping and yellow and lime dots.

Dit label op ongeveer dezelfde manier gemaakt, alleen een andere mask gebruikt op de achtergrond. De labels afgewerkt met witte gestempelde takjes en gele en groene stippen.

I made this page for the 'Circular' theme.

Hier was het thema 'Rond'.

I used a hand carved stamp.

Een hand gekervde stempel gebruikt.

For the topic 'Suspended' I created numbers by sponging through a stencil with paint. I stamped the circles with a lid.

Hier was het thema 'Hangend'. 
De cijfers maakte ik met een stencil en verf. Met een dopje rondjes gestempeld.
