Party Balloons #3

 

Do more with your stamps is the theme of today :)

On this Christmas card I used a balloon stamp from the new Party Balloons stamp set by Darkroom Door. If stamped upside down this balloon looks like a Christmas bauble in my opinion. 

Doe meer met je stempels is het thema van vandaag :)

Voor dit kerstkaartje gebruikte ik een ballon uit de nieuwe Party Balloons stempelset van Darkroom Door. Ondersteboven gestempeld kan deze ballon voor een kerstbal doorgaan vind ik. 

For the design of this card I was inspired by the JoFY cards from my previous post.

I started by sponging Distress Oxide Ink 'Picked Raspberry' through the 'Small Stencil - Arty Circles' by Darkroom Door. I stamped balloons on the background using StazOn Ink 'Dove Gray'. For a 3D effect I masked off some of the balloons while stamping. The small stars were stamped with Archival Ink 'Jet Black.

Dit kaartje is geïnspireerd op de JoFY kaartjes uit mijn vorige blogpost.

Begonnen met het aanbrengen van Distress Oxide Inkt 'Picked Raspberry' doorheen de 'Small Stencil - Arty Circles' van Darkroom Door. Ballonnen op de achtergrond gestempeld met StazOn Ink 'Dove Gray'. Voor een 3D effect maskertjes gebruikt op de ballonnen tijdens het stempelen.

De sterren werden gestempeld met Archival Inkt 'Jet Black'.

The blue bauble was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Distress Ink 'Salvaged Patina' & 'Speckled Egg'. I attached the bauble to the card with 3D tape.

De blauwe kerstbal werd gestempeld op aquarelpapier en ingekleurd met Distress Inkt 'Salvaged Patina' en 'Speckled Egg'. De kerstbal verhoogd opgeplakt met 3D tape. 

I added shadow to the balloons with a Derwent graphic pencil and finished the card off with Stickles and tiny blue stars.

Schaduw aangebracht rond de ballonnen met een Derwent potlood. De kaart afgewerkt met Stickles en kleine blauwe sterren.
